Saw Annual eBay Plus for $7.99 on the homepage when browsing. Unsure if it's targeted but it does mention the promotion has started today from 10 am and ending on 30th of August 2025. The subscription will auto renew at $49.99 so you'll have to manually turn that off. FYI I have made a purchase from eBay this week for those wondering how to be targeted.

          It showed $10 to me as well and then $49 but the final payments page still showed as $10 for a year.

              @CheapCookie: Good luck with that. I have had so many errors with ebay lately that I cancelled my Plus membership. Their support is rubbish in my experience.

                @RogueWolf: Wild how they cannot figure out what is wrong with their own system.
                Starting to think they know what's wrong but were not prepared for so many people to sign up for the $10 subscription for some reason and have decided not to fix it.
                Thats just my conspiracy.

                  @CheapCookie: I just tried getting a resolution from Ebay chat and was told we are aware of the issue and will add your name to the list. I asked if I could pay full price and get a refund, they refused. Personally I have had enough of Ebay's attitude and have lodged a complaint with the ACCC regarding false and misleading advertising.                     @Max-Agent86: I contacted support again to see what was happening with my last complaint.
                    The support agent said my case was still open with the last agent I spoke to over 3 days ago, and that they would follow up to as to why my problem was unresolved still.
                    I'm going to keep contacting them out of curiosity every 3 days if they don't do anything, will probably cost eBay more in wages dealing with me instead of just giving me the $10 subscription, will report back what happens.

                      @CheapCookie: I have contacted support a 5th time today.
                      This time support said they were aware of the subscription issue and that many others have reported that the promo subscription is not working for them as well.
                      I was told not to worry about the end of the promo date and that support would get back to me in an email….
                      So thats that I guess, I am doubtful I will ever hear anything back from them.

                          @tokyocalling: I just received an email from ebay support around 2 hours ago now, they said to sign up to ebay plus and they would reimburse me $39 to my paypal account and also give me a $10 coupon.
                          I honestly don't feel like risking another stuff around, considering how many times I had to contact ebay support.
                          They also called me this morning and left a voice mail that was almost impossible to decipher except something about $10, it sounded like a voice mail left from a scam centre…haha

                              I was chasing support up about fixing the subscription cost because it was offering me $10 promo, but on the part where you pay for the subscription it was showing $49.
                              I agree, will be passing on it.

        basically go to your my ebay plus page and then have to browse down and theres a manage my subscription link
        should get you to the page you want where it shows when your next payment is

      only for the odd thing with free postage. If you buy one thing and it saves you (what is usually $10 minimum postage) it ends up being worth it. Not everything is eBay plus though.

      Mine also the same. I contacted chat and they said I should be getting the reduced price and I qualified for it but they have to escalate it as not working. They are going to get back to me in a few days when the promo is working for me to purchase.
