Smashed My OnePlus One - Already Found a Replacement Phone

Edit: Thank you for the suggestions. Was leaning towards getting a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro until Wiki,aka Mrs JJB, gave me her oneplus one.

Hello,

I've smashed my Oneplus one while doing something stupid ( don't want to talk about it :( ) Any recommendation on a new phone please? I only ever use my phone to surf the internet , call and txts. Budget is only about $400.

Edit: I will need be using the phone in Mauritius. The bands are :

2G -> GSM 900
3G -> UMTS 2100
4G -> LTE 1800

  GET A WINDOWS PHONE!! Windows Phones have a great UI and perform really well! Plus everyone looks at you like you are some kind of freak. Also will be perfect if you will only use it for internet , call and texts.

    Dunno why the harsh downvotes - they really do have a great UI but the dearth of essential Apps (eg. banking) really make the Windows Phones little more than paperweights.

  Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro has attracted quite a following on OzBargain last couple of months. Here's the comparison with Oneplus One. Similar size, a slight upgrade in chipset, dual sim and fingerprint sensor.

  It's been as low as $273 delivered from eGlobal, though the cheapest right now with expedited delivery is $283 + delivery from eGlobal for grey and gold. It's also $299 delivered from qd_au on eBay for the gold version.

  There will probably be better deals if you can wait a bit.

      half naked isnt bad….. if its the top half, the bottom half naked well then.

      still the phone matter?? maybe you had fixed then 2cent multi tool cars to the back of it and i can understand why it broke.
