The first time Amazon have ran a midday lightning deal on this card, and what a cracker of a price it is, the cheapest it has ever been. Quite a popular card, 2366 reviews at 4.5/5 stars. Reads at around 75-80Mb/s and writes at 15-20Mb/s.

These always sell out fast so at this price it won't last long at all.

  • the deal is: $24.86 but to ship to AUS is $29.95, shipping waived.
why discriminate AUS? I just left it.

I'm not entirely clear on your comment.
Are you asking why they charge money to ship this card from the US to Australia?

      • -1

you can add it to cart for $24.86, but after chose ship to AUS it is $29.95 with shipping cost waived, but you're not getting it for the lightning deal of $24.86 but the normal price of $29.95

        • You're right. That's weird. Still cheap though.

        • +1

You're still getting free shipping though, so it's still a good price for a 128GB card. (I bought one!)

        • -1

Yeah so youre saving around $5 for shipping, which is still nearly 20% for an already discounted item.

    • Because it costs money to ship thousands of kilometers? Very reasonable as there are local companies that charge more or shipping!

  • Confusing system for Aussies but OP is still correct though.
    $29.95 USD delivered.
The Sandisk with about the same specs is about another $10 iirc.

cool! been wanting to upgrade my iphone to 128GB.

    • +1

I don't think you can add a memory card to an "iPhone"

    • +1

Same here, time to upgrade my dual-sim iPhone from 4GB to 132GB (128G tf cards)

      • How do you do that? With an external adaptor or something?

        • +1

Yeah I had one for my iPhone 4. It's a case thing with a sim ribbon cable. You have to switch SIM cards by using the calling dialer. Not sure about the memory card though. That only works for iPhone 5 and above because of the Lightning connector

        • @supnigs: Jeez, a IOS with peripherals hanging off it - sure it's not a windows phone ?

        • Just kidding

        • @MITM: I just use it for watching movies and photos. It's not attached permanently

I think you'd be better off upgrading your iphone to Android in general ;)

So matching your profile pic and what you mentioned here. :) Couldn't stop lol-ing.

  • Good enough for 4K video? I using moto x style.

    • +1

      Select Style
      * Support Full HD Video (UHS-1) $29.95 In Stock.
      * Support 4K Video (UHS-3) Not available in 128GB

    • Moto-X uses 6MB/s for 4K, so it should work.
Not that the 4K looks any better - its a bit of a gimmick with such a small sensor and lens.

  • Looks like the offer is expired. Its showing 29.95$ + 5$ shipping.
