Uh oh, he said Megabuy…! This deal was last posted here when they were charging for delivery (for some reason). Well now they're not, and this appears to be the cheapest XBL I could find :)
They take Paypal as payment if anyone is worried about some of the stories, and obviously they're an Aussie store

    Look, honestly I've never had a problem with Megabuy, every time I've dealt with them it's been very straightforward, I'd have no hesitation in doing so again.

      Well if you pay by bank deposit they obviously have to wait for the funds. I paid by PayPal on Friday and received the code a couple of hours later.

Just be aware that they tried to get an additional amount by having shipping insurance… Bought one through the last deal and still had to wait the 3 working days for email :( but did work successfully. Good price compared to yearly.

    $2.31 PayPal fee… I didn't think that PayPal fees were allowed to be charged to the purchaser.

      Depends on the wording. Handling fee is allowed, payment surcharge is not allowed. So if your invoice says payment surcharge you may be able to claim it back via Paypal, handling fee is accepted.

    Genuine AUSTRALIAN code? I've always thought all LIVE codes were universal, can anybody conclusively say yay or nay on that? No idea where I got that idea from.

    Recently bought from the UK, with about a 15 minute turn around & for a decent price, and haven't had a problem with the code. But reading that just piqued my interest.

      Yes. Your code may be non working and you will not be able to claim it via paypal after few months.

    Rep comes on here every now and then claiming one or two staff members were responsible for all the issues and now that they've left it's all good…but the bad reviews keep rolling in.

    It's encouraging to see that these guys appear to be coming to the realisation that providing overwhelmingly poor service is no way to increase the customer base. Given that only last month they were trying to shaft customers with a $16 delivery fee on an Xbox card, I believe there are still major issues with this retailer.

    @Sandwichface: Its been almost two weeks and not heard from them and no code. Not happy, I have contacted them via website and no reply. I saw in the thread they reckon they had 300 orders but I placed mine pretty early and others have gotten theirs within days, its the 18th and still no code…not good service at all.

    1 complaint out of 300 is certainly much better than how they usually operate.

      So 1 complaint and you neg the deal, when you don't know if there might have been an issue with the payment or anything. Plus megabuy are local, not sure why they didn't pick up the phone, rather than email.
