Nope 3G ,take out the sim and chuck it.

  • Kmart were throwing these out 6+ months ago for less.

    Handy for WiFi only tablets.

  • I remember buying a few of these with 3Gb data included (1 month expiry).
Can you confirm there's data with them? Come to think of it, I still have 1 left over…
Check expiry dates on device IMEI if they do come with data/sims

  • This is NextG. Isnt NextG 4G? I thought it was.

    • not 4G, these things are ancient. 2011 you could get these

    • NextG is Telstra 3G which was the successor to the ageing 2G network at the time that's why it was called NextG. The NextG network was built way back in 2005-2006. So you thought wrong.

  • I often buy 3G modems for the sims and use in in my 4g modem….. handy during school holidays when you aren't sure what the data consumption will be while you are driving or stuck at the holiday house….. especially with you tube going in the back of the car.

Although this (ZTE MF60) is an older model, but it's a much better device than all latest 3G modems (Optus Huawei E5251, Telstra ZTE MF65, Vodafone Huawei R207 etc). It has a LCD screen to show you all details of signal and battery conditions etc. It also has an antenna jack which all latest 3G modems don't have. The download speed is 21Mbps, same as MF65 and R207 and can give you max over 2MB/S in use. Battery same to MF65, but much hugn capacity than E5251 and R207.

  • There's about half a dozen of these left at Westfield Garden City (Brisbane), with data expiring mid June. Also a bunch of MF65s at $14.
