Xtreme Guard - 90% off All The Things

220
NICE90OFF

Xtreme Guard is my favourite screen protector. Due to it being a wet type installation, I always get a perfect install and zero bubbles. Can't recommend them enough. Got an email on their latest discount code for 90% off. Usually they have at least 70% off codes on the website at the top or you can find codes by Googling for them. Code is NICE90OFF for 90% off currently - there's no mention of an expiry date. Shipping time to Australia is about 3 weeks from memory.

90% off is their normal price…

    • So then its not really 90% off.

  • any one bought there Flozu earphones?

Review on quality of suction mount + screen protector?

  • Its self-healing property is good with the full body kit but too spongy for the screen.

    • I agree. I've had a few of these guards in the past and they are pretty much useless for the screen when compared to, say, tempered glass. I absolutely hate the squishy feeling and peeled it off instantly.

I'd also purchased one for a Galaxy Note Tablet and it broke the S-Pen functionality so that was great. Definitely steering well clear of xtremeguard in future.

  • so these screen protectors good? for samsung galaxy s7?

  • UPS postage ?

  • Thanks, bought 4 for myself and 1 for a friend. A couple of bucks, and they seem nice enough. Even if it's all marketing, if they're even 10% what they claim to be, it can't be worse than buying from a Chinese brand from eBay/Aliexpress.

  • Would you know if their price is AUD or USD?

Their screen protectors (not talking about the Xtreme Steal or Spartan glass) are the shizznitz. YouTube XtremeGuard installation to see how to fit them. As I said, being a wet install, you can re-position as you're installing the product. Once you have it just right, just wait for it to dry out. It'll look like ass at first with bubbles throughout even after you use the squeegee, but once it dries, they go away and it dries clear - flawless. I recommend applying the protector before you go to bed so it dries overnight and you wake up to a clear phone. All pricing is in USD but it's only a few bucks. I recommend getting like 2-4 of the full body protectors to make it worth your while due to the shipping (around $16 all up for the 4 protectors delivered from memory). I found with the full body protectors, the back protector can pull away from edges so you have to keep sticking them down during the drying process. Once they get sufficiently dry they'll become more and more tacky and eventually they won't come up on the corners and stick down. Then after they fully dry, they're stuck down good. Just something to keep in mind.

    • Or you can install a tempered glass screen protector which will feel like normal glass (not squishy), looks much clearer (IMO) and doesn't require a wet installation to get perfect anyway. All you have to do is tape down one side of the protector (lined up), raise the other side, peel off the plastic, and drop it and it'll fall perfectly in place since it is rigid glass.

Just my 2c, but these protectors are so overrated in my opinion.

Another thing to note is they last forever. I've had a full body protector on my S5 and the back cover got some fluff in it and I eventually had to remove it after about 2 yrs. The front one is still great and has no issues. I keep it in my pocket with keys and stuff so you'd think it'd be all scratched up and horrible but no, still just as good. So yes, they are a bit pricey for a "budget" screen protector, but they are as good as the premium stuff that sells for $30 a go. Anyhow, my two cents.

Got excited with free shipping………..until realising it's for US only >_<

  • For what it's worth - I've been using this brand for a few years and have been happy with the quality. Have had them on my iPhones and they've been great (both the full body sets and the Spartan glass screen protectors). Not using them now only because I don't quite like the coverage of their back body film for the Nexus 6P (which I've just switched to).

  • I bought some dry install ones a few years back for my lg g2. It was horrible. It was shipped without any reinforcements so it was bent to buggery. They were pretty good at sending another pair but after I installed it I found the quality pretty bad. It was hard to swipe on and it seemed a little blurry too. On the plus side there was no hassle in getting a refund.

    • I might try the wet install ones on my new lg g5

    Your Cart
Coupon code "NICE90OFF " is not valid.

    • Just tested - it's just you. Must be something in your cart that doesn't qualify perhaps.

      • I thought it covered "all the things". Seems an S4 tempered glass protector is not a "thing"

    • You have a space after the "F"

  • Thaaaaank YOU!

Lumia 930 and Dell Inspiron 5000 sorted. :)
