      Because its obsolete stock. That's why its cheap. Watch makers are as fashion driven as any couturier, they dump last seasons watches at vastly reduced prices. However since the boxes haven't gone out of style, they are not dumped. So the discount buyers just get the watches. Dumped watches still come with warrantee, though.

    it probably comes a slim vinyl wallet which is typical for a $30 watch

    hell even $100 swatch watches don't come with a box

    That watch is now sold out, they do have this watch though http://www.redbird.com.au/p/1083566/casio-sport-w756d-1a-wat… which is similar and only a few dollars more plus it has a steel band

    dont worry who miss this out, check on ebay (not au but ebay.com)
    search Casio W756 you will find this watch with few $$ less incl shipping :)
