5% off most things is a nice touch, as opposed to no savings at all.

This is part of the "Wacky Wednesday" deal, which will reveal itself tomorrow. This also means most stores will close at 9PM.
Voucher requires an email address to obtain a unique 5% off voucher.

      The 5% off is discounted at the register, regardless of what you negotiate with the staff member. If you think you can easily get 10% off, you will get 5% off that price at the register. Assuming you stay within the voucher terms and conditions.

        Terms for the voucher states "Discount is calculated off the current ticketed or promotional price (whichever is the lesser). "

        Can someone confirm if they can get the 5% on top of a negotiated discount beforehand? Will have to wait until Wednesday obviously.

          I am speaking from my previous experience with these vouchers, unless the voucher functionality has changed. The terms are generally referring to products that cannot be discounted by staff (software). Please let me know how you go.

          I can also confirm this works.. I got the Sonos PlayBar and SUB. They RRP for ~$1994 together. I bargained down to ~$1920 and with the discount got them down to ~$1820.

      Distribution times seems random. Currently, only 1 of the 3 email addresses I signed up with received the 5% off voucher.

      The title of the email is "Get an Extra 5% off Wicked Wednesday. Starts tomorrow!"

      don't see anything different in that link compared to their usual pricing on TV's. However, you might have to go in store to find the wicked deals tomorrow!

      on another note, anyone considering a new TV should look at the current eBay Good Guys 20% off sale. the discounts on offer are better than most other retailers are willing to match for a lot of the TV's which are currently listed on TGG eBay site.

      I bought an LG 60UH850T TV for $2702.00 (listed price was $3378, RRP was $3795) on the weekend. I went to JB, Harvey Norman, Videopro & Myer stores on the weekend to try to get a price match, but no one was willing to get anywhere close to the price above. They all stated it was well below cost.

      Best thing was that I was able to pick the TV up via Click & Collect from my local TGG store less than 24 hours later!

    Blu Ray and music (including vinyl) are 20% off at mt gravatt QLD at the moment. Was able to use extra 5% off also making 25% total.

      Technically speaking, it's 20% off first, then 5% off. It's NOT 25% off altogether as suggested.

      Example of why this matters -

      • A $5 CD, marked down with 20%, then 5% brings the total to $3.80 (5 x 0.8 x 0.95 = $3.80)
      • A $5 CD, marked down with 25% altogether brings the total to $3.75 (5 x 0.75 = $3.75)

      We're getting slightly jibbed with the discounts applied one after the other, as opposed to just one heaped discount.

      The 5% off coupon was send out yesterday afternoon. Today's email from JB were all the Wicked Wednesday deals.

      Purchased a 3 for $40 and 3 for 20 averaged $7.60 per title for 6 movies using the 20% + 5% discount is excellent.
