  Avoid "Seconds" from Sony's eBay store at all cost. They're not "factory refurbs" - they're used "ex-repair" goods which may or may not actually have been fixed.

    I got a 65X850C 'second', and it's perfect. Not a mark or fingerprint on it and not a technical defect in sight. Very, very happy with purchase.

    I guess personal experience varies, but I'd happily buy again from there. Remember it's 12 month manufacturer warranty too.

      I'm sure many people get lucky. But at the end of the day, it's a matter of statistics. Their feedback says it all. Check through their negative feedback, and it's mostly about "Seconds". A feedback score of 94.3% is pretty shocking. I would never buy from any eBay seller with such a low feedback rating.

        I never got my speaker from them, ended up getting a refund after a month and a half, so I'm one of the ones that added negative feedback!

        Really bad customer service too…..

  I have this tv, bought new. Very nice with few issues. If you get a good one, it will be great. Be aware that some people complain about their android TV's in terms of wifi etc. I probably wouldn't get one of these if I was relying on a wifi connection. Given it is a smart tv you will need an internet connection to it.
