    • +3

Do they only come in RAM? I want one as an outboard motor.

      • -2

I'm after more RAM, my new case is clear and I don't like green.

        • +1

Clear case with a server motherboard, interesting choice.

        • @forkus:

          Custom build.

        • @jv:
          Whatever floats your boat!

Hope your motherboard takes ECC Ram.

        • @forkus:

as long as it's not green, it should be fine.

    • you need to order log instead of stick

      • +2

        Wood I ?

        • +2

I wood stick to log if I was you

        • +2

@jv: could be the chip causing that

        • +3

          @shane_au:

I'll try replacing the chip board.

Will the RAM also work on ML10v2?

    • I wonder this as well. It seems the non-"I" version is supported, just wondering about this one.

    • +1

I purchased a stick during the last 20% off sale and it works in my ML10v2 :)

  • Does anyone know what advantage this Kingston Module would be over a Crucial (see link below)? It's for the older N36L Microserver if that makes any diff. Cheers!

    • "Guaranteed-compatible" is the entire point of using RAMcity. Check out their return policy.

$49 + postage should be better than this deal too.

    • +2

That's non-ecc ram, probably not a good idea to use it if you are going to be running zfs pools.

  • +1

This is a great price. I paid $89 last time. Would have jumped on this deal had I a need for more than 10GB RAM in my file server.

  • Damn I just bought some ~$73 Crucial from ramcity for my new ML10v2.

    • didn't they charge for postage too?

      • Yes. Thus the dammit :>

  • Depends if they actually want to ship the item. Still waiting for them to ship an ssd I ordered 2 weeks ago. They don't reply to any messages or even my dispute on eBay…

    • Bought in the last ebay deal.
Can confirm, 2 orders not shipped and no reply to emails

      • -1

orders not shipped and no reply to emails

sounds like they're the same mob as the Good Guys online store…

      • I bought a mouse and SSD from them recently and both were delivered in a little over a week (Brisbane)

        • just an update - 2 items purchased - HDD and RAM. the HDD just shipped but nothing on the RAM even thou the RAM was ordered before.

they don't seem to be the quickest on the delivery front!

  • Woot - finally a sale on these. Thanks! :)

Hmmmm, decisions… Do I bump up my Dell Precision from 32 to 64 GB ram?

  • -2

any deal with HP Gen8 G1610T plz?

  • Grrr - wont let me add to cart, as Ive just bought 2x HDD's from them.
Even though the ebay rules are 3x items up to $1000 for the sale.

    GRRRR!

    Anyone else have any problems?

  • +1

Anyone know if this works fine with a hp n40l? Still running the original 2gb, but really need to upgrade it

  • Looks like one left under this listing if you are on the fence.. That being said, I have seen many time auctions go down to 0 items, only to replenish to 10+.

    Thanks for the post op!

  • Thanks for sharing

  • Any deals anywhere on a Laptop RAM ? I am after any of these RAMs.

    Kingston
    Crucial

  • Anyone able to advise if this Fujitsu ram is compatible for the HP gen8: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fujitsu-8GB-DDR3-1600MHz-PC3-1280…
