The 2nd Gen iPod phones' are fake, although i did receive a batch where there were some good ones which had pretty good sound quality and also some poorly built ones.
The Cx300's are also fake, it makes no mention of the Sennheiser brand in the title, so thats how they get away with it.
I bought a pair myself. Can't tell the difference between that and the original. The sound quality was the same.

The site use to sell R4 and DSTT and is pretty much a flavour of DX. I doubt the $1.99 are genuine apple earphones. This is a great offer, I just bought 3 different earphones for under $10AUD shipped. Now just need to find some use for the 3 of them :)

I would say they are fake. If you look at the customer images, the cords are string-like, not plastic like its suppose to. Buy at your own risk guys!

The earphones which are genuine on focal price have the company name in the title… kanen/sound magic. The others like CX300 dont have senheisser in the name and are fakes… pretty damn good fakes though.

@bargs12: Unfortunately I think the 2OFF5 is cancelled too. I was planning on ordering lots of things in tiny quantities to use it, but I didn't get to use it even once. I made sure I had more than $5 with no special items. 3OFF10 didn't work either. Hopefully it'll start working later
