Hi, the discount is automatically applied. All policies purchased on the website have 40% discount off their standard pricing.
No discount at all from the website. I compare the quote from TID it is much more expansive than 40%
Got a bit excited as I am looking for travel insurance, but onlinetravelinsurance.com.au is cheaper, a lot cheaper!
I normally use QBE because they offer retrieval insurance. If you get messed up they fly a highly qualified paramedic to come get you and fly you home. I know one of the guys that did the retrieval and he's the guy you want to come get you if you're in trouble. But this is not a bargain. It's the same price as travelinsurancecover.com.au for the exact same dates.

What a load of bullhonky, your site is MORE expensive than the QBE website for a quote I submitted.
Not sure which QBE site you are looking at. Just did a check and we are cheaper than the QBE site. You can email us your travel dates and we can look further into why your browser is showing a higher price.
I put in my trip details for a quote and its still giving me the normal price i'd pay anywhere else; is it automatically applied?
