    Gives me an error

    • Same here, got an error and now it's asking me to pay for getting a UK number

      • Yikes! You should have received the first number for free. Can you please drop a message from Help/FAQ section? There is a 'Contact Us' there.

  • Limited use.

Most services can detect virtual numbers/voip numbers.

Also the numbers are most likely recycled quickly after the usual 2 weeks trial.

I remember getting a Google Voice number and I had to keep it in use for about a year before the spam stopped coming. It is not quite good. 3 Months… Bleh, not enough time to avoid the telemarketers from calling or other spam the previous owner subscribed to.

    • Swytch Lines act like a real mobile UK number. You are correct about recycling, if a user does not renew, its recycled after a waiting period. In case you have a wild number, just contact support, and they will replace with a new one for you.

  • Got balance of 75 cents but not number

    • It seems like you had a connection break while registering. Just allocated you a brand new number for 3 months!

  • I just set up a number, and tried to use it for an inbound SMS.

    I got the message:

You have received a verification/PIN SMS on one of your Swytch lines. You must make a purchase in order for such messages to be delivered to you…

    This is a bit annoying!
