  • Its not "ipod and iphone clearance"

  • joys,

    You are 100% correct.

Its an "iHome iphone and ipod dock and alarm clock clearance"

I have updated the title to make that as clear as possible (within the character limit of course)

  • I've been looking at the iP9 for a while and have been wondering if the LCD can be turned completely off while having the unit still on.
That's the problem I have with my current iPhone clock(iwave).
So can the iP9 do that?

According to the iHome site - it has a dimmer….. I would assume it will go 100% off - as most with dimmers do.

      Leon,

A review on iLounge says it is an 8 step dimmer and quote:

The new screen’s numbers are bigger than before, its calendar date is now word- and numeral-based rather than just numeric, and most importantly, the combination of a black background and a multi-level dimmer bring the brightness level down to nil in a dark bedroom, while still permitting you to see the time.

      • Thanks, so I guess that this does go completely dark.
But for the record my iWave has an 'automatic dimmer' but even the darkest setting is too bright.
It also has iPhone shielding so I guess I have no reason not to buy now…

  • Good deal but the Black IP9 is not Black it's Gunmetal Grey as pictured, but wrong colour description.
