I would still like to browse ozbargain while not getting tempted by any food deals, I had a look at settings but there seems to be no option to hide specific categories in your search feed. Only option I see is to hide specific stores. I know this may not sound useful to you. But I think this can be useful to some people, especially if you are only looking at specific categories.
If anyone is wanting this too, can you comment or vote the first comment to show the mods the demand for such a function?

Actually I just had another look at settings and the option already exists! this is a game changer, and yes self control!
You can manage your front page so you only see certain deals.
Go to settings > edit > deals > click 'Deals For Selected Categories' then click all the categories you want to see, so click everything but the food/grocery category

I noticed food deals can still be seen as part of the "new deals", is this a flaw to the function?
The function is only for front page sorry, the 'new deals' section can only hide store rep posts or change the vote minimum for deals that you see in that area. I'll pass on the suggestion though to see if it's possible.
used there app on Saturday to do a pick up order said it will be ready in 20 mins drive down only to be told that they have a backlog and it wont be ready for 2 hours!! asked for a refund only then to be told it takes 2 weeks to go through!!

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Unless you can add all the toppings you want at that price, now that would be a bargain
