Is there a red Bull version?

    • Not yet. Coca Cola version might come sooner.

Dude where'd you get your Pepsi phone from?
    Got it from coolicool
Srs? I got my elephone from coolicool

  • "PEPSI P1S"?!!!
Admittedly, I prefer Coca Cola, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it P1S…
Gotta love the QA of certain Chinese marketing departments.

This Pepsi Peenis phone has a real ring to it.

    • Maybe the next one should take the moniker Pepsi P1SS.

  • YES good work OP. I was going to pick one up last time I was over there except they only had the P1 with less bands.

Edit: I'm mistaken. The P1S is the one I saw as the P1 has much better 3G/4G coverage.

I think I'm going to buy this just to own the Pepsi P1SS phone… in urine gold of course.

The pics show heaps of Chinese apps so expect it to be infested with questionable Superfish style Chinese shenanigans.

Do they have the MAX version

    • You mean Zero Sugar?

Jokes aside…spec wise it isnt too bad…abit last gen cpu but it packs just about everything else

    • +1

I'm not hugely worried about the cpu… what I am worried about is continued software support and mores the point… can you even trust them to make a reliable no telemetry o/s?

      • Hey, it runs DIDO you know. Fido Dido has been around for ages :)

Technically its two gen's ago CPU (Two gens of Helio's were out since). Its ok in performance compared to the mid-low quad cores but its getting on a bit these days compared to the more modern stuff.

  • And shockingly this comes with 5.1! The mtk6592 as far as i know never released beyond KK source code wise.

  • 3G/4G can be a bit of an issue for all telcos here.

  • Very fringe brand… good luck trying to clean the phone from all the built-in Chinese bloatware and spyware

    • +1

Root the phone run MTK DROID TOOLS Remove China prob solved ( mostly anyways)

      • +4

Putting aside the software issue, isn't the network support kind of patchy?

It lacks 850mhz and 900mhz 3G UMTS band
        4G only supports B3 + B7

Voice calls are typically made using 3G only, so if you're indoors or out in the sticks, 3G voice services won't be very good as you only have 2100mhz to work with.

Doesn't read too badly from the specs. Though I'm curious about camera quality. Currently I'm using a stock rom lenovo note and it has similar specs and can be bought for a similar price from aliexpress. Hmmm. Inexpensive China droid.

Anyone is going to be the first tester?

  • May want to be careful with this purchase. Originally setup as a crowd funding project, does not look like their goal was met and looks like refunds were being provided because the project was canned.

    • It's legit. I've seen them to buy before.

Good deal, but I'd rather wait for the iPhone 7up.

  • The design looks very similar to Doogee phones.

  • Can this P1S play PS1 games?

  • This is the cheapest touch ID + 1080p screen phone I've seen. Tempting…

  • Is Pepsi OK?

  • The announcement was made in October last year that the phone was coming out:
