I find it odd that people compare dishwasher machine detergents as I'm yet to find any differences other than smell and whether the detergent has a rinse aid. Other than that the dishes are clean with every product. There isn't a degree of clean here, I mean they're shiny sparkling clean.
Is there something beyond clean that I'm supposed to be getting? Because I'm seeing zero difference between the same Finish brands, supermarket home brands and whatever else I tried. So I just buy the cheapest one I can find.

The choice reviews say otherwise, there are substantial differences between the bottom performing product and the best performing. You also rant to choose a product that cleans the dishwasher and doesn't damage the machine or items being washed.

I have noticed that some tablets have gone a bit mouldy if you have then for a couple of years. Just saying.

No, they are the original. Instead of gel it is a granular material. Have used them before and they don't clean as well and sometimes leave undissloved granules. They are rubbish in comparison. Not sure how you can order something out of stock. Obviously crap stock control.

Not sure, now. The picture attached to my email shows a product with a granular washing agent that I've tried before that is rubbish. The email wording says Finish Quantum Original Ultrashine/Powergel.

@5cooter: I imagine they stock both the Ultrashine (http://bit.ly/29h3E1C) and the powergel (http://bit.ly/29t4SL1) versions, and will probably fulfil these orders from their stock of both.. so we could end up with either… I'll leave my order in and cross my fingers

yes indeed. i replied to HN and said to cancel my order as their substitution is inferior to the original.
I replied saying if they can't fulfill the order with the Power Gels only to cancel my order also

I think the ones offered are a discontinued line that is not the same as you posted. The Max ones have a liquid part in it, I don't think the ones offered have that
so are the Max any good. I was told by HN that they are Gel and have no powder in them

I used Harvey Norman's online chat. I asked if the order was still going to be fulfilled. Apparently shipping is normally 3-10 days within order date (according to customer rep). So I guess if there is no shipping at the end of this week we should contact Harvey Norman again.
I have not received any other communication apart from the order confirmation email.
Emailed them and they send they emailed me, which no they haven't.
You have to state to them in the email you agree with the replacement.
Just checked my spam folder and found the email from Big Buys from the 6th. Took up their offer of replacement.
Didn't receive any emails from them, so I did online chat with them and they actually sent me an email that was in my spam folder =/.
So I guess 8:35am was already too late.

meh. still cheap. ~$100 for ~3yrs supply.
Got my 1,200 powder tablets yesterday (grey imports).
At 2 washes per week, these should last me till 2028.
