    I've seen free tickets pop up on OzB the last few years, so hoping they'll appear soon as it's an excellent day out trying lots of tasty morsels and sipping significant amounts of wine!

  never been to one of these. Do you pay for food and drinks once inside? Or is there free samples all over the place?

    there are some free samples, but you pay for meals and some events.

    I've been the last few years, and before that I went to the Brisbane one - it should be called 'The Good wine and some Food show'

    If you've got some disguises on hand you should be able to feed yourself completely on free samples.

    Or heck maybe just wait an hour between each visit to a specific stall, I guarantee these people forget faces easily seeing probably hundreds a day, as long as you don't have any distinguishable features or clothing.

  IF you were to pay for it, you are better off using the 2 for 1 citi deal or I'm sure the entertainment book would also have a special. I've used both before and not had to show proof of ownership.

  I feel sorry for those who paid to attend these expos. I went to the one in Melbourne using free tickets and I still feel ripped off.
