      This is the Step up model from the ebay entry model.

        The one I purchased has dvd resolution (720x576) capture, has USB audio, works with my Mac (and macs are always expensive, right?) for the mighty sum of $20 including post from fleabay. I'm sorry - this is just NOT A BARGAIN.

      I've spent significant time looking for a cheap device to do it via HDMI, but alas, there isn't any. HDCP killed any chance of that (there are more expensive solutions).

    Terrible company, terrible deal! Had my worst ever online buying experience with this company over a doa item. Treated me like a criminal, stalled and fought me all the way.
