Whats the deal with Amazon posting a $600 item, and not using a tracking service?

Yet when I purchase some $100 RAM, its the most detailed tracking I've ever seen!

    JESUS !!

    • +1

Mine has shipped and I can see the tracking… arrived at amazon california, left amazon california…. etc.

Have the AusPost tracking number too.

    • did you get your card?

      • not yet…….. only shipped on sunday.

  • Mine has an AUS Post tracking number, but when I put it into Aus Post it says its not valid….??

    Carrier: AUSSIE_POST, Tracking #: 997001607BJ4421587xxxxxx

    • +1

It will work in a day or so once it hits the postal warehouse either in california or sydney/melb etc. Patience!

    • Mine on auspost track web:

    Cheers, Love! The Cavalry's Here!

  • Sold out while filling in details…again.

    Better update deal again

  • This fits in the alienware amplifier. Works just fine too.

  • next deal ?

  • Mine left JFK airport yesterday. Should hopefully be here by mid next week. Cheers OP!

  • Can people confirm how many digits are in the aus post tracking numbers from amazon? mine is still saying items doesnt exist….

    • Mine is 29 numbers long and the last 4 digits are my postcode.

    • With a recent order from Amazon I had to look up "i-parcel" in Google. Came up with a ups website. I put the Amazon tracking number in and it said "This parcel has been transferred to AusPost. The new tracking number is blah blah blah …" I then put that number into AusPost and found the parcel's tracking. This may not work for you but it did in my case.

  • Does anyone know whether the shipping with auspost will require signature on delivery? I won't be home during the day so hopefully they won't leave it in my front door -.-

    • Yes signature on delivery.i rang AusPost. The rep told me the parcel is signature on delivery. If you register a free MyAuspost account you can have it rerouted to a post office of your choosing up to 1 hour before expected deliveryor now if it's on the system. I may just go the reroute option as I dont trust them. They left a $100 worth amazon parcel on my doorstep 4 Metres from footpath on Tuesday this week as Amazon hadn't selected signature on delivery. The delivery guy couldn't care less. My downstairs neighbours took it to my backdoor and hid it out of concern when they saw it.

  • ordered on the 13th but no shipping number yet

but got delivery date for 27 july to aug 1 :S

  • Oh w00t, me card is in NSW, apparently arriving at me work place on monday

    • +1

Your card must be on an earlier cargo flight? Mine left JFK airport at 10pm Tuesday, NYC time.

      • mines same no update since it left US

        • actually mine was ordered on the 6/7/16, but only shipped on the 13/7/16…

        • @mikkim4eva: Hmmm mine was ordered 7/7/16 and shipped 10/7/16, however the last update was on 11/7 Shipment departed from Amazon facility Hebron, KY, US. Even opted for AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping.

        • @MrDerrickC:

Silly me, Monday Usa time hahaha, apparently tomorrow from UPS tracking! The wait is killing me…

        • +1

          @mikkim4eva:

  • Arrived at facility in destination country

Hopefully i get it soon :D

    • Same. Mine is in Melbourne. So a week from Amazon to Melbourne. Now it's prob gonna be 2 weeks from Melb to my house…. in Melb. Cmon auspost prove me wrong :p

        • Mine last update was 12th July 8:49pm with the status "Package has left the carrier facility, Edison, NJ, US"

Ordered 7th July. Hopefully an update sometime tomorrow.

  • +1

Took one day from place order to Australia, then took 2 week from Australia to Australia…..

  • Okay. My package is a 30 minute drive from my house. Let see if Aus post can deliver it before a week. lol

  • Still no update on package status since Tuesday. Bloody painful the waiting game. Like 5 fps slow. Damn, I pray they don't do something stupid like leave it on the doorstep when it finally arrives because it won't allow me to redirect to my P.O. through MyAusPost website yet? :-(

    • Still Nothing since Tuesday ….

      • mine too. No update since left US. @@

  • Latest update, arrived in Australia! Hopefully by end of this week!

Got my card today! Ran into a few problems setting it up but seems alright now :D

    • nice one :D

      • I didn't get a cd with mine, not sure if it's meant to come with one. When i bought the 970 from evga it came with one.

        • Nah u dont need a CD :p. http://www.nvidia.com and download the drivers from there

And EVGA.com if you want to install precision X.

        • @Skramit: yeah i wanted that precision x thing ty :)

  • My tracking number still doesn't work. This is a joke…

Got mine today morning around 10.

Because I got message says the item will be delivered today.

Shower taken, wine prepared, well dressed. I opened door before the delivery guy even knocked it.

Took the card. Smelled it, kissed it, and sleep it.

Damn I don't want to put it into my case. I don't have any game I want to play atm, i am placing it on my desk and steering at it!

Ps: ordered at 8th, it arrived Australia on 11th, 17th got updates said it it was in my suburb. Today it was deliveries.

    • It's even more beautiful when its in the case and lit up.

    • +1

If you can't put it in your PC I'll put it in mine. Where are you at?

  • Got mine this morning yay. World record broken by AusPost - parcel delivery in 3 days. O M G.

Now I have to look at it all day on my desk at work :(

    • Mine still sitting at customs clearance but well done there mate, at least you get to rig it up tonight :p

      • Looks like my card just arrived Adelaide today and will be handled by Fastway couriers! And was told that Amazon's instructions was authority to leave it (if the delivery guy made no effort..), now I am getting a bit worried! lol!

    • +1

Did you pay for express shipping? I beginning to think that AUSPOST in Sydney is a bit stuffed. I rang them,t hey have no idea where it is but believe it's on track. I am confused why some people have their cards so fast and the rest of us are on the slow boat?

      • Nope just the cheapest option. it landed in aus on saturday then i got it today.

my original ETA was 25th july.

  • Deal is back in stock, thanks ammar.

    beaten to it :)

It's funny how these are flying through the door. I bought one, now need to upgrade my PSU, any MSY recommendations? that EBAY sale is a joke

    • +1

I bought Corsair CMPSU-HX850i :) get ready for 1070 but mine still on the flight since 13/07 ..so sad

      • 850w a little overkill for the 1070 isn't it? I'm in the same boat need a reasonable power supply bit don't really want to spend 200 plus.

        • +1

You can get EVGA SuperNOVA G2 Gold 750W Power Supply – $159 (PCCG) or Corsair 750i $187(Msy)

        • +1

          @tim6789:

A 500w psu is plenty for a single 1070 system. Modern PCs don't drawn the watts they used to 5-10 years ago.

Who reckons they're not getting there card this week? I'm hedging my bets. I have no idea if it's in the country or not. Rang Aus Post. Bloke said it's all good but he doesn't know where it is. 2 Mins past from making the call and Then I get a bizzare update on the tracking that reads: Customer enquiry Lodged, Brisbane City Queensland. I don't know if that means it's in Queensland or if I spoke to a rep in Queensland? I suspect it's here in Australia somewhere, probably interstate but it's in customs or something like that. I am finding this a frustrating Amazon experience for a rather expensive item so far. I ordered 3 seperate items that needed to be put together in one parcel and they got that to me in 10 days from payment last month. How could the tracking fall off the face of the earth? It will be 15 days tomorrow, grumble grumble grumble

    • I dont think I will get the card this week even on ETA Thursday 21/07 but still latest update was left US 13/07…bla bla..

      • Contacted Amazon. They've refunded me the shipping fee as an apology. They assure me it'll be here by the 21st. Not sure if they mean Thursday Australia time or US? Ask them where it is and you'll get back the $14 usd for shipping. When I add that to the $20 back promotion from 28 degrees that's $40 Aud discount off the price so I can't complain too much now

  • Mine got delivered today xD

  • +1

Bought one today with stock expected 22 July. Fingers crossed!

  • Does anyone have any idea if this fits in a Corsair 250d? Dimensions look good, wondering about cables on the top. The MSI 1070 doesn't fit for this reason I've read.

    • ordered one anyway, looks like it should fit. I'm crossing my fingers!! expected delivery aug 4-9th

  • My card has been delivered today. It had an estimate delivery date of 26th July. It arrived early than I expected! Hurray.

  • Got mine today! Ms received it from Fastway no worries, all good. Can't wait to get onto it tonight!

    • Well, hooked it up tonight and run into drivers issues, but all sorted. Ran 3DMark, compared my Radeon R9 290 to GeForce 1070, it doubles the performance ! Impressive. Going to try out some games later…

Bought midnight last night. Posted today… :) Due 5 August but wonder if it will be quicker.

Got the card. Courier rang the doorbell at 7:30@m, I leapt out if bed and opened it buck naked. He saw what I was packing and threw the 1070 at me and ran. I ripped the box opened, stared at it, smelled it and then rammed it right into my MacBook Pro … Will insert it, gently into my PC rocking and older but still mostly capble i5 2500k 4.6 GHz OC with 16gb of Corsair 2133mhz on an Asus P8P67 Pro mobo. I built this rig in 2011 for Skyrim. Hasn't let me down and I watched a digital foundry video where they ran a Titan x with the same ram speed and i5 2500k 4.6 GHz and it still pushed out 110 fps at 1080p on battlefield 4. Only games it stutters in is Crysis 3 but feel like that game as a bench is a bit ridiculous as I wonder if it's a just a poorly optimised 2013 game that modern CPUs brute force there way through.

    • That is a nice story… Maybe wait for Kaby Lake processors, they should appear in shops soon.

      • If I go Kaby lake, that will be a whole new mobo, ram too. I ain't doing that for another 2 years at least I reckon.

  • Default option does not ship to australia.. nice one
There are alternative sellers that do but they have jacked the price right up

    • That means amazon is out of stock. Refresh it once a day or monitor stock on www.nowinstock.net

  • Not sure if someone has mentioned this but $699 + shipping for the MSi Armor GTX 1070. Limited quantity so not worth posting but if you care about warranty, an extra $80 or so might be worth it.

  • Got mine delivered today. It arrived 5 days earlier. Can confirm it fits nicely inside a Corsair 250D! Awesome :). I don't have the DVD bracket installed though
