Buy a $20 Netflix Gift Card & Earn $4 Woolworths Rewards Dollars @ Woolworths

830

Get $4 back on a $20 Netflix gift card. I only discovered this offer yesterday when I actually logged into my ER account. Brochure for this week advertise a $2 return on $20, but the ER site advertised a $4 return on $20, equals a 20% discount. I tested it today and verified $4 return for each card I bought. Suggest you check your own WR account if you want to be sure. Either way, it's better than paying full price for Netflix.

Wish idiots at Flybuys will start offering decent deals compare to their crap reward program!

well Woolies is terrible. you only get a "dollars" on certain items, everything else you get nothing. At least coles gives you points on everything.

      • I thought they were bringing back the QFF points…or am I mistaken?

        • According to the FAQ on the Woolworths Rewards website, they are working on it and expected later this year.

How do I earn Qantas Points: Later in the year, you'll have the option to convert your Woolworths Dollars into Qantas Points. In the meantime, we'll be sure to keep you informed on upcoming changes so you don't miss a thing. We'll email you all the details, so make sure your email address and communication preferences are up-to-date.

You get 5% off everything in Woolies already.Yes,Woolies' Rewards is pretty poor in a way that makes you feel Flybuys points are better.

However,Flybuys is merely 0.5% rebate.Mostly organizations have credit surcharge for 5% off Coles giftcards, which is more than the 0.5% rebate. In comparison of 5% off giftcards,Flybuys points rebate can not cover credit surcharge to make it even.So in a same price situation,Woolies products are cheaper. In addition, many people actually do not have the access to discounted Coles giftcards.

Just take 5% off Giftcard as Woolies Rewards Program.

        • I get 5% off coles too.
The kids prefer woolies since they offer free fruit - a very smart ploy.

      • When I do bulk shopping, between 200 - 300, and I don't go after they cash in particular, the "money back" is between 0.5% and 1%. Why bother having their card in my wallet.

      • Yes true. At the not terrible flybuys you have to spend $2000 to get $10 back. While on Woolworths they are doing promo where you spend $20 and get $4!

I usually buy iTunes giftcard when they are on promotion.

It is about similar discount rate but I think you can buy a lot more other things using them (if you are an iOS or Mac user).

I just hate the way Woolworths doing their rewarding, but their petrol seems a bit cheaper after the discount.

What's the expiry date on the Netflix Gift cards? I'm planning to get a subscription in December this year or January next year so I can watch the new Star Trek show.

Catalogue only mentions $5 reward on $50 Netflix, when I bought $50, got $10 rewards.

I was tempted to try the $50 card, but decided to go for 5x $20 cards instead. Good that someone was brave enough to try!

      • Add it to the OP.

    • Can confirm; bought 2x$50 cards and got $20 credit.

  • Strange, I can't see that in my account. :((

    • me neither. anyone else see it?

      • +1

I can confirm that even though the offer is not visible in my account I got $4 back for buying a $20 card. Yay:))

  • Stupid question but how do u actually buy this? I can see this and all the other deals in my woolworths rewards account but no links to purchase. Are these instore only or something?

    • +1

      Giftcards are instore only.

  • Confirmed, just bought 2 x $20 with $8 rebate WW$. Thanks.

I think with Netflix blocking the smart DNS services , more people are now leaving Netflix . I guess they are trying to keep customers onboard with these promos .

Personally Netflix is useless to me if I can't access the U.S. Site

I agree the australian netflix content is garbage. Didn't even use netflix when i had it for free for 6 months.

Uflix is still working for unlocking the US netflix if you use their static routes or get their router.

        but for how long.

      • they're fighting a losing battle I think.
DNS4me emailed today to say they're giving up on US region as they can only get it going for 3-4 days vbefore they get blacklisted. But Canada & Netherlands is still good.

I actually found Netflix Canada had everything I wanted (including stuff from UK & also Canal+).

Agreed. I've subscribed to Netflix for years but everytime a DNS workaround is found they block it. I'll be cancelling soon.

    • If you use a VPN on your computer it works. I use ExpressVPN and connect to Los Angeles 3… i've been watching US netflix for months that way without an issue

Its nuts that even trying to pay for a service gives terrible content - no wonder torrenting is so prevalent in Australia!

  • Also note that you can pay for Netflix through an iTunes account with iTunes cards that are always 20% off at Officeworks.
Same discount that doesn't require a Woolworths card and has no time limit

  • got the $50 one and it credited $10 in Brisbane

  • Bought some tonight, confirmed working! Didn't appear as an offer in my Woolworths Rewards but worked at the counter. The gift card store display had the promotion listed (earn Woolworths Rewards Dollars when purchasing these gift cards) but didn't say the exact amount.

  • Bought a $50 voucher and got the $10 Woolworths dollars. Thanks!

  • confirming that the $30 card is $6 rebate
