if its a Usual Deal, how is it a bargain?

    • Because it's not available all the time.

    • $50 off commonly is not $50 off always. Usual deal just means it pops in and out and when people hear the word "Store credit" they might go and buy for that month/few months.

  • And they've removed Items…

  • As per previous T&Cs not stackable with other store credits…

  • Would one get a better discount if they walked into the store? That way they would not have to spend the savings there.

The 'Pay Less Pay Cash' slogan is no longer a thing, and the system generated discount related to this is a minor discount.

Only if you're going there to price match a competitor.

  • I have $70 store credit to spend from the last "usual deal". Any ideas what to buy?

    • I wish I had credit. I'm so desperate to buy my Samsung S7 but there is no way to get Store credit for me haha. I need price beat and store credit!!! :(

I suggest you buy something you need, don't spend money just for the sake of the free credit, that's what they want you to do… muhaha.

      • I can't figure out anything I need. The credit came from a needed washing machine + microwave.

I saw reasonably priced sodastream refills in one of the stores before I had my credit, but I doubt they're still on special (or in stock).

        • Oh wait, you get the credit AFTER your purchase? I thought it was to be used with your purchase, like a cash-back sort of deal. :(

        • The credits have been store credits for a while, it's to get you back into the shop to spend more money.

  • Havent seen anything decently prices at good guys in years. Dunno how they still operate tbh

    • Not unless its a 20% eBay code discount.

    • Plenty of good deals at TGG. Even better if you actually ask for their best price or to better a competitor. They also price-match with a good range of other stores.

    • Got a Russell Hobbs blender there for $30 reduced from $100. Was a decent buy!
