Ok, but any reason to get these over a SanDisk ultra ii? Because they are $50ish more expensive

i recently bought an ultra II 480GB for $156 delivered from amazon.

cant see why you'd ever opt for one of these instead.

I bought one of these recently for $149 from Landmark. Ended up returning it due to issues with it working in an enclosure with my Xbox One.

There are no tools available or firmware updates for these SSD's. You will be lucky find any information on Toshiba's websites about these drives. I say pay a bit more for something like an Intel that you know will be supported.

I think we can all agree that the price for a 480GB SSD [out side a say Samsung PRO model] that would get an Ozbargainers finger twitching would be about the $150 mark.

    • Agreed. Waiting for local stock of Sandisk 480GB SSD Plus to hit $150 delivered.

      • Do yourself a favour and get at least a sandisk ultra II
Better performance, but also better reliability
