      I've clarified above. It means the data plan is active for 3 days, and during the 3 days, you can use up to 1GB of data on the 3G network at 3G speeds

    I'm interested in the 1GB data offer. I'm going to be in hk for four days. If I activated the sim in Australia before I leave, does the 3 days count from first usage of sim or from when I activate it?

    this deal is only good if you're in Hong Kong for a short trip i.e. less than 10 days and forget about using the 1GB for 3 days, just use the 90 day phone call deal. To top up and recharge this SIM card at $288 for another 1gb is very overpriced, much better value to recharge and top up using the CSL prepaid card.

    HK have plenty of free wifi simply snuck into any shopping mall 9 out of 10 they'll have free wifi, you'll likely need to make phone call to tell your local friends where

    Hi all/rep, need some advice here if anyone can offer ideas/solutions.

    Family members will be in HK for 3 weeks over Christmas and new year, and want sim cards that have data and aren't much fuss (no need for top ups/ changing sim on 7 day passes etc).

    Any ideas on what sims are good for this trip? I see rep has a china mobile one for ~$33 each but the expiry is 31st Dec which won't work. Assuming they stock more with a later expiry date, is that worth it?
