  • Is it just me or are these things going UP in price

    $14.90 delivered http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/25889

    $12.90 delivered http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/24908

how can this be a clearance when it is more expensive than what you were selling them for previously?

    • er?
$14.90 Delivered? That was the HDMI Cables, nothing to do with this item.

$12.90 Delivered? That is a OEM brand with only 6months warranty and less techinical support.

This reduce to clear is a TP-Link model…
It's not going up, it was 25.90 delivered previously

      Cheers

      • my mistake I put up the wrong link. fair enough, sounds like an alright deal. I will positive it since I cant remove my post anymore. btw I plugged your hdmi cables in another deal. :)

      as stated above.

the cheaper ones comes with 6months warranty and less techinical support due to it's an OEM product.

This TP-Link is a branded products and they have 24/7 customer support / techinical support.
and it also comes with 2 years RTB warranty.

  • Does it do packet injecting?

    • Hi mobius

I've emailed to TP-Link to ask about packet injecting.
      This is what they replied:
We have not release the driver to support packet injecting yet. Maybe it will support packet injecting in the near future.
      :)

  • Sorry for the stupid question, but what does this product actually do? Is it possible to plug it in my desktop and boost up the wireless signal around the room? Thanks.

    • +1

It is actually a portable NIC to connect a device to wireless network :)
What you actually need is a Wireless Access Point or a router to boost up wireless signal, this is only a usb adapter to connect to wireless router =)

      please refer to wikipedia:
