  • looked tempting..

but mains are 30-36 each and entrees are quite expensive..

Also the 9/10 rating from eatability is from only 2 people who's review count is 1 - dodgey

    • and hence we use the 50% voucher to make it cheaper :)

wouldn't go to it otherwise with those prices.

  • yeah i know what you mean but it ends up being nearly 20 dollars each anyway… nothing too special

    • thats true, its not an everyday restaurant… I guess I bought it to take the gf out for our 2nd anniversary.

      • you are using vouchers on your anniversary?

        • Nothing wrong with that, it may sound cheap but it's really the thought that counts and I'm sure his gf will be appreciative (as long as he be a gentleman, orders enough food and beverages, and leaves a tip at the end). btw, $70 can only get you two mains, entrees and drinks will set you back by another $60 or so.

I wouldn't use vouchers on first dates though.

edit: just saw the comment below about getting two vouchers, I didn't realise you could do that. So yeah $70 will probably be enough for two. good thinking!

        • she doesn't mind… voucher or not. it's what you do that counts and not how much money is spent in the process.

its like winning a paid holiday to disney land but not taking it up because its free :)

anyway, im still spending 70$ or more with all the drinks and stuff !

  • +1

If you buy 2 vouchers and use on a dinner for 2, you could get a 3 course meal for $35 a head.

It all depends on what you would class as a good deal: Strawberry hills hotel for a $10 steak or the deal on offer here

    • the missus will prob appreciate the Menzies 3 course a bit more than the S.H.H. !

    • which is what I'm exactly doing, haha.

  • This is a great restaurant and their food is awesome, having said that I don't think the deal itself is that great, you can use your Viva card to get a main for free which is a saving of about $35 anyway and there is no expiry or prepayment needed.

Too bad you can't use this promotion in conjunction with the Ouffer deal.

edit: I retract my comment, if you can use more than 1 voucher at a time, this is a great deal.
