Free Wi-Fi! Imagine how many Pokemon we could catch…

Actually … not that many, went with a mate who was Pokemon'ing non-stop and it's barren land … until you hit Spencer street …

      • 50mb limit I believe actually

Big discount buying a return ticket!

I hate that about Skybus, I always just buy one way because saving $1 really isn't worth it if I lose the ticket while I'm travelling.

You can buy an eticket online….but then hang on!…you might lose your phone while you are away :/

Yup. I was there for PAX last year, and sensibly (I thought) bought the return ticket to save hassle of buying two, and to save the $1. Met a friend in the city who gave me a lift back to the airport -_-

Yeah you never know if you'll pick up an Uber discount code which will get you all the way for cheaper than skybus too ;)

  • Worth a detour to St Kilda if they don't allow you to board at Southern Cross with the free ticket

    • it's free so don't think any tix issued

    Very appropriate that:

St. Kilda and will be offering it for free (both directions)

  • Public Transport would involve taking the St. Kilda Tram to Southern Cross, a train to Broadmeadows and then the 901 bus to the airport. 1.5 hours.

Or you'd get the sky bus from Southern?

    • they left out that this option (public transport inc. 901 bus) only costs $3.90 or $1.95 for concession

return price = $37 (skybus) vs $7.80 (public transport inc. 901 bus)

  • I cant get a free tkt, how do i get them? Website get me through the full price..thanks

NOT new, its the old FAPAS bus service, bought out by Terry of Skybus.

    http://www.busnews.com.au/industry-news/1606/more-airport-se…

    • Your source indicates that it is new…

The addition of this new SkyBus route follows the announcement in April of the new St Kilda Airport Express service, due to commence services this winter.

  • but it's a new route for skybus

  • I saved an extra buck last time I used skybus 'cos I had a Jetstar boarding pass…bargain!! :)

  • Skybus is scum.

  • I just Skybussed it last week Airport to Franger and back again. Bus was pretty empty both ways

  • Hopefully sometime I can have a free trip from South Cross, been with Skybus > 50 times

  • So has anyone here used this yet?
