Do anyone know any 27 inch monitor deal that is cheap? I only need 1080 for my PS4. Thanks

    Anyone seen any 24" 1080p 120-144Hz G-Sync?

  • code is live

  • Any promo on 22-24?

Purchased a XB270HU from Futu. Not as good as the XB271HU, but this can do for now.

Noticed that PC Byte changed their quantity to one lol.

    • Same here! The 271HU still has major light leak issues etc. Not worth the extra money for the risk imo. Plus who would get frame rates above 144 anyway. The downside of this 270HU is the stand is a bit meh.

Saved some money taking this deal.

      • I forgot cash rewards :(

        • Same.. but I have not signed up for it.

      • I heard that after I bought mine. Lucky it's 100% not an issue on this one!

      • Bezel on the 271HU is tiny compared to the 270HU

  • Since I missed the XB271HU last deal I've decided to splash out and get the PG279Q

Time for some high refresh rate goodness :)

    • Last time I posted the deal they never had stock to begin with :( here's hoping they fulfull all orders this time!

just did a quick search of 144hz monitors, the price is lol…..welcome to the world of pre-jacklation

  • Love how the price mark up's happen just when these offers come about hahaha

  • Check MSY before buying.

  • Been doing a bit of searching, doesn't seem like there is anything in 22-24

  • I've had the XB270HU a while now, it isn't much to look at but the panel is great.

  • Sweet I just got the XB270HU

  • Got the XB270HU from the last tech20 deal after got my XB271HU order cancelled by futu online.

Very impressive panel, lucky enough to not get a single dead pixel and the light leaking is minimum. Using it with my gtx1070 and the gaming experience is amazing.

  • /necks self..

Just bought an Asus ROG Swift PG278Q from PCCG for $960. Was delivered yesterday..

    • -1

      Showing quantity as 0 anyway..

    • I know the pain dude. Sorry man.

Once I buy something I NEVER look at prices, but then something will come on here and I'm like 'Oh come ON!'

    • How is the PG278Q?
      Any regrets?

      • Haven't had anything to plug it into yet.. Rest of my order came today.
Will be building my PC tonight after knock-off time. Will let ya know..

Got the Asus ROG Swift PG279Q. Was literally going to buy it tomorrow when I got paid, saw this post today. Saved $100. Thanks OP!

  • Spent a few hours looking at different options last night when I heard about the eBay deal.

I was almost ready to pull the trigger on the new Acer Predator but … I dunno, seems a lot of money for a monitor.

Started to look more and more at just getting a Qnix for half the price and OC'ing it to 120hz.
The bezels and stand are pretty awful but apart from that, they're mostly on par with these monitors that are double/triple the price.

I got a QX2710 and it's amazing for the price ($400 zero dead pixels). Make sure you buy from a seller that covers return shipping for defective products because shipping is hella expensive if you have issues. I've got 2 QX2710 and haven't had any issues.

edit: just saw your other comment, gl with your new monitor.

        Cheers mate!
Yeah I think the top 2 sellers are dream-seller and accessorieswhole - I went with the latter.
My brother had 3 of them last year and loved them so I'm really looking forward to it.

        Great bang for your buck!
Might get a VESA monitor arm or something to work around the dodgy stand.. :)

Dat feeling when your cheap 60hz monitor OC's to 100hz. Just like how you can overclock i5 6400 to i5 6600k clock speed without an expensive motherboard.

A lot of the monitors in the OP tick almost all of the boxes… but didn't tick all of them for me personally.

    My criteria was:
    27" and above
    1440p minimum
    120hz minimum
    $500 maximum.

I went with $370 delivered for a Qnix 27" 2560x1440p PLS monitor (with pixel guarantee) which clocks upwards of 120hz (has to be DVI only, no other ports).

Of course, if I had more money to spend, I'd have definitely picked up a 28" Predator I think!

I reckon you'll be happy, I grabbed a Qnix QHD2710R a little while back for $318 with PP guarantee, I couldn't be happier with it! :)

  • Got my tracking number and hoping to receive it before the weekend!

    happy man :)

  • damn… Why FreeSync LG why! T__T

  • Looking at an ultra wide 144hz freesync IPS.

Too bad it seems they've all been jacked.

  • Want a 34uc88 or u3415w never seem to be on sale

  • +3

Wow the Acer Predator is sold out. 155 sold. I guess no one saw the new version coming out in the next month or two

  • How good is the warranty servicing for Futu Online ? Do they give proper invoice with GST included ? Also does any one know if Futu is going to get XB21Hu in stock any time soon ?

    • +1

Whenever I have purchased from futu I have received a tax invoice with GST.

As a general rule of thumb, on ebay if an item location is in Australia you can expect that GST is included, if it's not then it would be a purchase without GST.

      • Thanks for sharing your experience CheapBrah :).

  • Any suggestions for 2 curved screens to sit side by side. Only need 1080p. To be used in a study. thanks

  • These prices are already jacked up from pre EOFY sales. They just haven't reduced them yet.

If you're thinking about the XB270HU I would recommend upgrading to the 271 (if available) for $80 more. The thinner bezels and the better stand are worth it IMO.

    • The 271 has too many known issues with quality control. Backlight bleeding should not be an issue on a monitor over $1k

  • Hey guys, PG278Q or XB270HU? I like that the Acer is IPS but this is the one that's been known for bad pixels right? Also does the 4ms delay make a difference at 144hz?

    Help please!

    • Based on online reviews, most people seem to prefer IPS. Luck of the draw with the bad pixels I guess.

    • I just received the PG278Q. Such a beautiful monitor!!

Too bad Futu Online isn't listed as one of the authorised resellers for the cashback promotion :(
    http://www.asuspromotion.net/au/lcdpromo/

  • My monitor was delivered today. Under 24hrs from shipment notice to delivery. Props to Fastway and Futu

Hoping I got a good one!

    • have one two dead pixels on the lower left lol. trying to massage and run a screen fix.

      • Mine has really bad backlight issues. :(

I am contacting Acer about it.

That is excessive. Found out that mine is probably dust and and not a dead pixel :\

I talked to Acer too, and they wouldn't bulge until I talk to the retailer and have them talk to acer.

Emailed Futu and they will send me a label for return shipping for replacement or refund. Taking one more chance with a replacement. lol

        • @L3ica:

Mine does look like a weird shape so maybe dust also. Will just contact Futu as well.

        • Wow… That's pretty awful.

I'd have expected a lot more QC on such premium products. I'm waiting for the XB271 before I pull the trigger, but am extremely apprehensive after reading around a bit (and seeing your real life results)

      • What's the deal with returns for bad pixels, > 4?

        • +1

Acer has a one month (I had to call) pixel perfect policy, but you have to return it to the retailer (which I am currently doing).

Anything after one month will go through usual standard policy. http://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/dead-pixel

  • Futu has nothing in stock???
