    That typo : http://puu.sh/qEl0L/eeaa585c68.png

Thought it was some outer the world stretched screen

    • Hamza's deals are always out of this world!

    • Yeah when I first saw that I was oooh, either this is a typo or vertical resolution is really 12000 pixels; either way I wanted to check it out. :P

Wouldn't mind a monitor with 12000 pixels down the vertical side for web browsing so I don't have to keep scrolling.

GLOSSY screen, for those who find that scream-worthy

  • been using this monitor for a few months, bought from Dell Outlet for $203. got a dead pixel after two months of use :(. I might be unlucky. Other than that, great sexy monitor for the price. Btw, you can not adjust the height, you can only tilt forward and backward.

  • This or this?

    • Availability: NO ETA
Both Scorptec and our supplier are out of stock on this item and we do not know when it will be available.

How soon do you want it? :P

      • No rush - Was going to get the Samsung ones whenever they came back in stock. Now, questioning since the deal is here

  • If you're interested about this monitor, here's a review of it. https://youtu.be/jZAEMeNSpGw

Monitor seems pretty decent given its price range.

  • This monitor was released 2 years ago. Is that a game changer compared to monitors in 2016 at a similar price point?

    • Only if you're not a cougar ;)

  • I have 3 monitors, Originally had 2 hooked up to dvi and 1 vga. The text was a little bit fuzzy/blurry on the vga connected one.
So not sure why they would support vga with no dvi on this, considering how bad text is.

    • So not sure why they would support vga with no dvi on this, considering how bad text is.

It's blurry because YOUR computer isn't doing it right.

And none of your monitors are this Dell, are they?

      • Really, they are connected to a gtx 970 , so not exactly a old card?

I bought a displayport to dvi converter which has fixed the issue.

        • Really, they are connected to a gtx 970

A GTX970 doesn't have a VGA port, so NO you didn't connect it that way.

Also I don't understand why you say "not exactly an old card".

I didn't say that your card was old… I said "It's blurry because YOUR computer isn't doing it right"

Sounds to me like you were using some dodgy DP to VGA adaptor, so it's understandable that the text got a bit blurry. DP is a digital-only so any conversion to Analog (for the VGA) must be done by a chip inside the adaptor.

  • I think this is similar to the Dell monitors I used to have at work. The glossy glare made my eyes bleed, I eventually changed them for a far inferior matt finish Dell screen. Unless you are using this monitor at night in a pitch black room I would avoid like the plague.

The U2417H is a better screen - well anything ultrasharp is. If you can spend an extra $100 that is.

    • Looking at past deals in 2014, there were several UltraSharp deals on here for $220-250. only in 2014 for some reason, after that it was 400-500 +

This is a great deal compared to other 24" monitors though, out of stock unfortunately

  • Ahhhh out of stock. Just when I was about to buy :(

  • Is there any image difference between S and P series ?

The displayport and rotation of the P-series are nice, but I can live without.
