  Last time I went to that store, the prices were so high I did a loop and exited immediately.

  By my estimation an average of 50% off would get the stock down to about the same as anywhere else.

  I mean, the prices that I saw were just stupidly high…. so I am not sure what "bargains" would be available in this deal?

  Got an example, since you are "Associated" somehow?

    There's a company restructure taking place. The corporate owner Super Retail are creating concept stores for Rays Outdoors (well actually according to the article the new stores will be known as RAYS) that are supposed to have a wider range of goods. The rest of the stores that aren't being converted to these new concept stores are being closed down. I guess those stores must have been the less profitable. The local store here in Rockhampton QLD seems to be one of the ones closing down.

    The discount is because this NSW store is closing down.

    They won't discount stock in other states as some form of "price match" LOL

  One closing down near me. All good stuff has been removed from store. So exclusion list should state: excludes anything that would be a good deal because we removed it from the store before sale.
