  • Some good deals there. You list the Uniden 8155+2 for $59 (cheaper, for some reason, than the Uniden 8155+1). The Uniden 8155+2 is $198 at Harvey Norman :-

Thanks for this post OP- South melb store 2 min drive from here

If you need a cheap cordless phone it seems there are quite a few left of various models, just picked up a vtech 155550 twin for $19.
Batteries supplied are low in charge, probably old shelf stock- but they seem to work well so far

    • Could you upload a picture of your receipt if you don't mind? I was charged $29 for the twin 15550 but hopefully they'll let me have it for $19 if I show them your receipt.

Why would anyone have a landline when you can pay $20 for 28 days with Coles mobile?

    • Ppl with ADSL2+?

      • Have you heard of Naked ADSL?

        • Some ISP might not offer naked ADSL.

edit: for example, I cannot named ADSL get it in my area.

  • Not available in at least 2 ow near me in vic.

Therefore i think this is South Melbourne only.

  • Noticed these in Officeworks in Townsville today. There was a selection of D-Link network stuff marked down on the same shelf.

  • got the last 15550 model from south melbourne, plenty of 15250s left.

ive got unlimited local and mobile calls with my $99 telstra cable plan so i figured we may as well have a home phone plugged in to use :)

    • Cool, you can call Moe's Tavern 10 times per day now.
