I was walking through Mawson lakes with my girlfriend and passed this florist shop (flowers everywhere) and my GF points out the sign that says "please take one". There were roses in a vase; red, white and orange. I walk inside to ask if they were serious "can I REALLY take one for my girlfriend?" I question, As my girlfriend decides to check out their other floral arrangements and cards. The shopkeepers smile and nod; without hesitation I grab the freshest and most colourful one I could see. As we Part ways with the store, I hand her the rose. her eyes light up. She gives me a hug and huge kiss. Life is good. :)
The roses themselves are most likely their older ones that they can't sell but still want to put to good use as they have a magnet on them promoting their business HOWEVER if you are passing through the area or going to Woolworths in Mawson lakes you can definitely get one and surprise someone :)
Unsure if anyone wants the magnet but I hope the free rose can be of use to someone
Their floral arrangements are quite pretty and their staff are very friendly :)
