Understand the Dell issue, but at these prices, there is value for members here…. as evidenced by the sell out of the first deal.

The other one has in its title "SOLD OUT" - which may make people not even look at the post and lose out on this deal.

@Jacko3000: I have edited the original post and linked it to this. Now this post has traction its the better way. Waiting for the old link to be updated by OP or mod might have meant that some here would miss out on this deal (ie $109 might be better than no deal at all).
As such while a sorta dual post given circumstances it stands.
That said, above discussions from both points of view are helpful.
Bought one! Didn't really mind the $20 difference. BTW what is the difference b/w this and the S2209W monitor that was selling for $137 not long before?

it's just a mistake by whoevers running the dell ebay site
Would this be good for gaming etc.?
Or should I spend $100 more and get a 24 inch BenQ G2420 screen. From what I've heard BenQ's have issues with dead pixels and shoddy warranty practices. Any ideas?
Should be good enough with 1920x1080, but if you prefer 24", this dell 24" may still be available.
Total is $254 after the coupon code. So not really that cheap anymore.
Looks like I'll just wait until end of financial year comes up, then I'll invest in a decent gaming 24" LCD.
My 22" 1680*1050 LG will have to do for now.

After 14 days a BenQ 24” can have a total of 5 Bright/Dark dots (dot=sub-pixel).
Dell is much better with their pixel policy.

Haha, I also got it for $137, and I was so close to buying the $89 one. I eventually decided I don't need another monitor.
$89 is worth depriving yourself from sleep.
