  I have no association with Scoot/no idea why it doesnt work.
  
  I suggest emailing/phoning them with the code and asking them. If they ask where the code is from, a gold coast attraction/discount book from your hotel/tour desk.

    I ended up doing a price beat with jetstar
    It was a lot quicker than the hassle of calling scoot.
    I think jetstar was cheaper, even though scoot has a better discount, as scoot applies it to the base fare and not taxes.
