Hi all. I made a lucky egg calculator for Pokemon Go a while ago and it's gotten quite a lot of coverage since. I've got a bunch of promo codes to give away for both Android and iOS (100ea) to the ad-free apps. If you have no idea what this is, you can access the site at http://www.pidgeycalc.com/ and there's an information section at the bottom.

Anyway just comment here with what version you want (Android/iOS) and I'll PM you a code.

I'm leaving + votes just to keep track of the people I've sent a code to. Apparently posting this offended a couple of people so much that they're going through the comments and negging people.

    Besides, power leveling past 20 isn't really that good idea. Pokemon becomes harder to catch, dust become harder to accumulate. For what, the very small chance that you will run into a high CP AND high IV wild pokemon? Just play for fun instead of obsessing over leveling.

          Actually not every pokemon needs to same candies to evolve (maybe if you looked at the website/app they offer every pokemon)???

          Lets assume you have 22 candies. You can evolve one pidgey for 12 candy. Then you get a candy from the pidgey when you evolve it, and you can transfer the evolved pidgeotte for another candy. This leaves you with 12 candy which is enough to evolve another pidgey.

          Therefore with 88 candies you can evolve 8 pidgeys. With 121 candies, you can evolve 11 pidgeys. Just divide your no. of candies by 11.

        You do realise the XP required at each level grows exponentially right?

        200k to get from lvl 1-20.

        A further 2 mil to get from 20-30.

        Then another 18 mil to get from 30-40.

        If you get obsessed about lvl, you will burn yourself out in no time flat.

          Just hope that they realise that the extra 18mil XP from 30-40 will only result in a 10% increase in CP for their pokemon.

          It's not even exponential…….not at least till level 30+. Personally I enjoy levelling but not just using pidgeys etc, so it isn't that bad. Like for new pokemon I evolve.

    Nice work. I stopped grinding myself once I reached level 25. There's no good incentive to level up with all the xp required! Just interested in catching the rest of them.

    Not really a bargain, there are so many free calculators available (e.g. https://pokeassistant.com/main/evolver )

    Charging for free stuff is a ripoff, and discount of ripoff is not a bargain

      It's not a bargain because the way the deal operates, people have to SPAM the comments section with requests. If you have a deal, post it. Don't create comment spam.

        Ok story time. I posted my app on reddit during the second week of Pokemon Go and it got a heap of attention. Needless to say there were a tonne of copy cats, and this one was one of them. When these guys first published their app, they used a loop similar to mine, but for some reason put all the processing on the server when there is absolutely no need to. Because of this I'm almost certain they used my code. A few weeks later they modified the app to use a different formula that is less accurate (it suggests to transfer more Pokemon that is required).

        Anyway, this only offers calculations for one Pokemon at a time.
