So in reverse - get $120 credit for $100 means only 16.6% discount - compared to previous sales where say you get $100 credit but pay $80 which is a 20% discount. Potentially will mislead lots of people who will assume this is the typical 20% off iTunes promo.

Deal still good - just not as good as it may appear.

Happy for anyone to confirm or counter my logic - but seems sound.

    • explains how i got $36 from a $30 card.

mmmmm i went to Woolworths bought a $30 card then went to Getbonuscode.com and got an extra 20% = $6

      • You should calculate 30(cash)/36 (benefits)=83.33% vs 80(cash)/100 (benefits)=80%.

      This seems to be correct.
The bonus value isn't part of the discount, so instead of getting every dollar 20% off there's 20% of the 20% excluded.

Cheaper to get the cards from Officeworks with their ongoing 20% off discount.

Title states 20% Bonus Value not 20% off discount. but yea a 20% off discount is def better than paying full upfront.

IF however you pay using a discounted eGift Wish Card (which should be possible if these iTunes gift cards are set denominations) then you could end up on top (compared to the ongoing Officeworks deal).

5% discounted Wish Card. $95 for $120 credit. 21% discount.
