Any deals on Micro USB cable?

  • Got one.

  • Thanks banggood! Bought 5 of these :) Christmas is coming and these can be very handy :)

  • Will these be just fine for nexus6p (USB c)?

    • +1

It will work, but will charge at a slower rate (max USB-C on nexus is 3A. This is capable of up to 2.4A)

      • Thanks , will wait for a better deal which can do 3A.

  • +1

Very solid unit. Everything Blitzwolf is good!

  • charge up to 5 devices at a blazing hot speed

At a blazing hot temperature too!

  • Invalid code? Never mind all good when logged in.

    • same with Citi 11.85.

  • Thanks OP bought a white one.
Recently bought an Aukey QC 3.0 usb charger aswell but it was like $40 and now I kind of regret it haha

  • does it also work as a data transfer to your pc?

    • It connects to a powerpoint so nothing connects to the PC.

  • +3

Paid in AUD, their exchange rates are no doubt better than Paypals so kudos to them!

Edit: not sure if it will work, but don't forget 4.8% cashback with Cashrewards :)

  • Would this fast charge an S6 edge+ and is it fine for a Google Pixel C?

  • Thanks OP just brought a white one

  • +2

In the end I didn't buy. Wish these were earthed and Aus tick (or whatever has replaced it) certified. Just don't want to take the risk of one of these causing a fire and injuring someone or no insurance payout. I know the risk is low. But consequences are beyond what i'm willing to gamble with. I'll stick with a powerboard and a bunch of chargers.

    • +5

Fair enough, but I don't think I have ever seen a phone charger with an earth pin?

      • Fair call too. But most are only 1 port. I'd be happy with Aussie approved.

        • +1

I get where you're coming from, I was surprised myself by the lack of efficiency rating, according to the review though it's fine.

    • For safety it either requires an earth pin or without earth pin be double insulated. Double insulated means a point of failure should not lead to a dangerous voltage being exposed. ie. all plastic casing. Normally items with metal cases will have the metal case connected to the earth pin for safety. Check out Appliance classes - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appliance_classes

The biggest concern about this item is if the circuit design for safety between mains and low voltage side is sufficient or not.
Some has opened up the box to check out - http://lygte-info.dk/review/USBpower%20BlitzWolf%2040W%205%2…

Of course no one should ever leave a charger unattended.

      • +3

Of course no one should ever leave a charger unattended.

Does anyone actually attend their chargers? I mean, I've gotta sleep sometime…

        • +3

Does anyone actually attend their chargers? I mean, I've gotta sleep sometime…

I do. I charge as soon as I get home, turn it off before sleeping. I'm in the habit since I have alot of Lipo's for Pro RC Helicopters. Also charge Lipos within a Fireproof bag as well. (except for mobile)

        • @darkage: i think Lipo is a difference story :)

        • @legelas:

i think Lipo is a difference story :)

And guess what kind of battery almost EVERY mobile phone has inside it.

        • @llama:

RC cells are a special case as they assume the "smarts" (required for safety) are contained within the charger. All consumer electronics with integrated batteries do.

        • @fowl:

RC cells are a special case

Yeah, so? Why are you telling me that?

Re-read the comments and specifically what I replied to (hint: I even quoted it).

All consumer electronics with integrated batteries ..do.

Oh, yeah - which completely eliminates the risk (NOT)

Did you miss the news about Samsung's Note 7 global recall, due to battery explosion/fire during charging?

        • @fowl: Normally theres more fail safes for Li-ion batteries (found in mobiles.) ie. Charger unit itself, charging circuit within the phone and protection circuit on the Li-ion battery itself. RC Cell's the charger normally has more smarts for different types of battery chemistries with alots of options but lipos dont require onboard circuit protection. It does make a difference that you can balance charge all cells at the same time. Still bad things can happen with Lipos if cells are already puffed up, existing damage to cells, or cheap ass manufacturing. Any lithium battery should be taken care of and respected.

Supposely spontaneous fire of a RC Lipo battery, not in use or being charged at the time

Actually i would probably say RC Lipo's are more dangerous since they get abused more. Thats one reason why you can purchase fire proof charging bags and some people charge within metal boxes for safety purposes. I've had to toss out new Lipo battery packs since I already crashed within 2 hours of use and punctured the cells. Just takes someone who is not aware of what they are doing for accidents to happen, but then again now Samsung have proofed Li-ion can have high risks too.

  • any idea how to get the advertised price? I only get $9.46USD with the code

  • Bought it, now to find out what it does. :)

  • still working… thanks banggood

  • Already have an Olixar one of these at home which is 6 ports and 10a but ordered 2 of these anyway haha.

  • They're not very fast. The one I have barely have I seen it charge my s5 at 2A, this is wuth custom kernel that allows the maximum current to be increased on the phone

  • Code Expired

  • Code is still good as of 5 mins ago. Ordered 2 more for the same price as the last one I ordered, they are great.

    • Ditto (code still working)

  • Cracking price. Purchased one just for the sake of it.

Will be a good back-up for the Tronsmart unit I bought a while back at AUD$26(which was a deal on its own too).

  • Bought one and coupon worked. I was confusing myself with the TOTAL amount in the first window showing the order. I then realised the coupon applied after scrolling to the bottom where it shows grand total on the right. Had to login to the site as well to apply code.

  • Thanks OP! Just got one, coupon still works.

  • -2

The different between QC vs. these high power chargers is that these cheapies will decrease the battery life drastically. To reduce the charging time, one can just simply increase charging voltage/current however things are not that simple.

    • +2

Doesn't QC have to be on both the charger and device though?

Unless you're charging everything with their original chargers or through a regular usb port, you're trusting your device to limit the supplied amperage, so it's really no different here.

And this is a good deal, I wouldn't call this product cheap!

      • You're right. I forgot the fact that most of end devices can automatically limit their input current and this charger has a fixed 5V±0.2V output.

  • Got 2. Thanks!!

  • +1

    Expired again?

  • expired :( "this coupon can only be used 500 times"

  • getting error msg. "This coupon could only be used 500 Times"
