Can't complain for a brand name sleeve and one dollar, might even think of other uses that's not a laptop.

13-14" one here.

Seemed to be stock in a few locations I checked. Free C&C, delivery $4.95.

Padded and adjustable shoulder strap it says. Was previously posted here for $19 a couple of months ago.

Edit: Looks like it has been Ozbargained and the product pages taken down!

      I tried to find for 17" like a year ago. Couldn't find one. The 15.6 dell laptop would not fit into this 15.6" laptop bag.

  • Looks like a good deal but my fuel usage to go pick the sleeves up will be more than the actual products themselves. Considering I have suitable sleeves for my 15.6" and 13.3" laptops, I'll let the rest of you ozbargain this.

    I was really bumbed out as I thought it was problem with my payment as my PayPal payment email was different from my JB registered email account.

    But made me feel slightly better knowing it was just ozbargained out.

    i just called the world square store and they have 3 in stock they said. Crazy as manager said store had 65 orders come in so a lot of us will have our order cancelled.

      I haven't had a pick-up confirmation or a cancellation yet, but looking at "My Orders" in "My Account" section of the JB website, it says that the order is ready for collection.

      I'll give them a call and see if I can collect.

      I ordered last night, 1 item, paid by PayPal.. if that's an indication of anything.

          my order status under "My Orders" is in progress but when I click on the invoice it says "Ready for Collection"
          still no email for collection or cancellation

        I just called JB and they "checked at the back" and confirmed that my item is ready for pick-up. I'll try to pick it up tonight, before they change their mind!!!

        • I'm not sure what the 'ready for pickup' message on the website actually means as I just called and they checked and told me there was nothing 'at the counter' and to wait for message on mobile.
          I'd be interested to know if someone actually gets a ready to pickup sms or email.

          @leTintin: Nothing against the staff in general and I believe it's individual decision, it's very likely the staff saw the price $1 and decided to keep for themselves instead of giving out to someone else.

        • I think JB online orders are routed to your nearest store to process so some stores may have lots of stock and some very little or none

    • I recommend going into store when you can, just went in today, no sale price but they had loads marked a 'normal' price, asked a guy to scan it, it came up at $1, bought 3. Plenty of blue left.

    ordered a few from southland thinking that the online inventory system actually worked and got the 'order verification failed ' excuse that makes it sound like theres a problem with my card.

    not even an apology 'oh sorry our online store is useless'

    nowthat not many people buy cd/dvds anymore do they really think we will be flocking to jb for whitegoods.

    jb wouldnte en match harvey norman on a re ent surface pro deal.
    good guys are pretty efficient thesedays.
    maybe jb should junk their system and use the good guys system.

      The store rep from JB Highpoint told me they couldn't fulfill my order as they ran out of stock, and I quote: "Sorry it was a first come first serve situation with your order"…. WTF!!?? I ordered this literally as soon as this deal was posted and got a proper order confirmation unlike others who got told they failed the verification stage! What BS is this??

      • Normally for click and collect, they don't process immediately. People who come in-store can buy even though you order a day before. So the best thing to do when after seeing this kind of offer is to order click&collect and go to the store first thing in the morning. That way you can grab it before anyone else. After that they will cancel your order. You don't even need to ask them.

          Then what's the purpose of 'click and collect' if I have to go in store to purchase it anyway? One of the main reasons why someone orders for click and collect is so they don't have to worry about it being out of stock by the time they get to the store, as they have already secured the product they want to buy from that store, by already paying for it.

          This is just some complete BS from JB Hi-Fi, I have had click and collect orders processed within 1 hour from HN and TGG in the past, clearly JB had little to no stock to begin with and their inventory count is a mess on their sytem. The excuse of 'first come first serve' is understandable for in store purchases, however this product was still showing available online for my store well after the time I made the purchase at ~12am today…. bottom line: crappy excuse from JB for their own failure to update stock levels online.

          Why can't they have a smarter system so that whoever orders first gets it first regardless if they are online or in store, so lame really.

      I learned very important lesson now. Go to store as soon as they open when seeing this kind of deal. Don't bother to do click&collect.

  • I bought this in the morning lucky I did. Picked up the last one from the World square store. It's best to to call as I was the only one who did don't trust the confirmation emails. It's a nice bag, awesome colour and comfortable shoulder strap. I wouldn't purchase this for the retail price of $54.95, so to be buy it for a $1 is an incredible bargain. Once again thanks to the OP.
