A few years ago I was there during the F1 accidentally.. Fairly sure my $200 per night 5 star hotel became around $2000 a night over the weekend.. So I'd say this is a fairly good deal…

Well considering last year all three podium places weren't Mercedes and the closest was Roseberg who was +24sec down the road, it's a reasonable assumption that the Mercedes team won't be dominant in Singapore.

Hi OP. Is this price possible if flying solo? Is it flying SQ or a budget airline? Was considering booking SQ flights myself but would consider paying $2200 and staying at the Sands if possible.
There's a Sale Flyer on their FB page (September 5) that says "Price 2200pp based on twin/double share". Might be worth putting in the post OP.

There appears to be some discrepancy of whether this price includes $510 of taxes. It's also unknown which departing cities this applies to. We are currently confirming with the company and will update this deal when we know.

Might be worth noting that if you have a wife/GF/sig other who is not absolutely an F1 fan, you may be able to impress her with the news that the tix also include admission to the concerts held each night.
