    Thanks OP, grabbed the ones I had missed previously.

    What is peoples thoughts on BF4's future when Bf1 comes out? (specifically for Xbox). Having played the BF1 beta they feel quite different.

    For mine, BF4 still feels more nuanced and hard core whilst BF1 feels faster with less emphasis on accuracy and more on suppressive firing and waves of attack. I suppose it is a good indicator of how modern battles are fought vs World Wars where it was a numbers game - literally throwing bodies at the fight.

      For me anyway, the genre is different enough that I see them as two distinct audiences.

      I'm not a huge fan of the WW1/WW2 shooter aesthetic so I think there will always be one group that likes ww1 and one that likes the modern era.

      Bf4 will still have a big audiance.

      I only have a ps3 and as such the last of the battlefield series to be on it.
      I would imagine there would be a lot more people in the world that are in the same boat so bf4 it is.

      Just need to confirm this is free dlc for ps3 too.

        Had a look and this is all the paid DLC available for free! There is some other DLC, community created maps and some BF2 maps re-imagened etc. which have always been free.

      Just bite it. There are heaps of people still playing and especially with the free dlc and the upcoming release of battlefield one you'll be able to find matches for a long time.

      Honestly, I'm tight as a fishes arse, but even I reckon gold is good value for ~$45/yr…if only for the 4x bonus games per month, but some of the deals with gold are awesome too, picked up a couple of bargains in those at times! :)

    Hey guys, need some advice.
    I am on the Microsoft website and have "purchased" the free DLC by pressing the blue Get button and then eventually getting the Con.
    I then have looked at my online Microsoft purchases and I am finding only the free Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta for $0.00 which I previously purchased a while back but no BattleField DLC
    Is this because free DLC doesn't appear?
    Is this because it takes a while to show up?
    I have made no other online purchases with Microsoft online store.
