  • Great price from a good store. Is it unbranded and Made in Korea?

    • I think its unbranded, they're all made in Vietnam I think

The black one you linked is optus branded. You even said it in your description
The Silver is also optus branded. The gold is vodafone branded.

They do have unbranded ones but they cost more.

        • So what does unbranded mean?

Does it mean it is a phone with only Samsung firmware (no telco) so that when an update is available from Samsung it's applied straight away and doesn't have to wait for Optus/Telstra to modify it?

    Exploding deal!

  • What does that Opt stands for in the title?

$800 for a phone. has the world gone mad

    • Check out the Apple crappy phone for 2K and not even 1/2 as good as the S7.

    • $800 for a phone. has the world gone mad

The world obviously went mad back in the early 1980s when it was customary to pay around US$4000 (1983) or UKĀ£3000 (1985) for a mobile phone ;-)
That is about 2.5 months average USA wages, or 3 months average UK wages (in their respective years).
$800 is actually less than an average weekly wage in Australia !

BTW, Optus is doing $65 plan with this phone, if you need a plan and this phone, that's only $31 per month for 8GB data and 300mins international calls
