  • So spammy. Doesn't Even have price in title. And for $140 you can get 7 days three meals a day and snacks from lite n easy.

    • Thanks for feedback. Price added to title :)
Lite n easy meals are frozen meals with very plain taste profiles. Our meal kits have fresh ingredients and aim to help you eat fresh and delicious food.
      Cheers :)

  • Price in title please. Did you steal your site's design from Youfoodz? Looks strikingly similar…

I don't know about these kind of services, always seem overpriced and I estimate they are destined to go the way of these jokers.

    • Thanks for feedback. Price added to title. Do you mind if I ask why you don't like the MyFoodBag and alike? We are not them, but we want to help the same people, that is, to help busy Australian with groceries and meal preparation. Our meal kits cook quicker than theirs though (ours are 15 minutes).

Would love to hear more from you. Thanks heaps.

For the regular price of $34 per meal you could go to most local pubs/restaurants and get a decent meal for two, plus you wouldn't have to cook or clean up. Even at the discounted price of $25 per meal it's still a lot to pay.

Sorry, but this business model just isn't going to work. At the very least, it's not going to work on OzBargain.

      Hi CarbonTwelve,

You are right, for $34 per meal (for a family of 2 adults + 2 kids), you can go to get some takeaways. However not every families can eat out 5-7 days/week, and we all know how unhealthy and unbalanced takeaway meals are.

This price is not for everyone, it's true. It would only work for people who value health, saving time, good food, and home cooked meals.

I do appreciate your feedback though. We would love to see if this works on OzBargain.

      • Perhaps I'm getting confused about your offer, is it $100 with the discount, or $100 without it? I assumed it was $136 normally (hence $34 per meal for 2 people).

But anyway, I wasn't even talking about takeaway. There are plenty of restaurants around where you can get relatively healthy meals for ~$17.

It would only work for people who value health, saving time, good food, and home cooked meals.

Even for those people, looking up recipes online then ordering food from Coles online and doing it themselves is going to be a lot cheaper with basically the same result.

$100 is the original price. You'll get it for $64 with the $36 discount i.e. ~$8 a serve. A steal, esp for families.
Researching and planning meals is very time consuming. Cutting, chopping, marinating all add up and it is the reason why many people want to cook and eat at home but don't have the time to do so. We save people at least 6-7 hours per week. Cheers :)

The site is down so i can't completely confirm, but each meal kit would be more than 1 serve (probably 4 serves?)

So it's not $25 per meal, its $6 per meal.

Edit- its 25 per meal for 2 serves.

So $12 per meal with discount- not $25 per meal.

That's pretty much what you'd pay for mcdonalds meal or a nasty pokies joint pub meal if you're lucky.

This is for proper food so it's not uneconomical.

      • It's strange the website didn't load for you. It seems to work fine for us. Pls help and confirm it's working?

It works out to be $12.50 per plate (original price) and it gets a bit a little cheaper if you order for a family of 4.
So you get $36 off on the weekly pack (4 dinners) on this deal.

        Cheers.

      • From the sounds of it it's $100 without the discount (I thought with, which is why I was going off $17 per meal).

  • I'd like to give your company a try but am 16kms from the cbd so well outside your 8km radius.
Good luck anyway with your business

    • Oh no! We would have loved for you to be able to try it.

We deliver to CBD offices too, if you're based around there.

      Cheers!
