voting in the joystick awards use to give games out for free…

    • Well if you play spec Ops apparently u get your money back. Im guessing it will be gmg credit tho. Either way $40 (+ mystery game value) worth of games for $1 seems ok to me

      Spec Ops is highly underrated

    • Last time I voted I was promised a game but only received their paid magazine subscription :/

      • yep

That deal was my first post :/

      • can't remember the last time i voted, but i think i've received 2 games from them, one was civ 5

  • Man they have really downgraded the games for voting. Last year I got Bioshock Infinite, and the year before was X-Com. Both games were released after Spec Ops.

I can't recommend Spec Ops enough. On the surface just seems like another run of the mill third person shooter, but shit gets really deep and dark.

I still found it to be a run of the mill third person shooter though.

      • Play-wise, totally. But the ride is a hell of a lot more entertaining than most run of the mill third person shooters though

Same, never even finished it. Found it way too "Merica" for my liking

What do you click to vote?

    • Had to turn off adblocker to see the survey.

  • Just got the email to say my vote has been counted. Hopefully not too long to go.

  • nothing yet - can someone let us know by replying when they get theirs?

  • Heads up guys go here to claim your code: https://goldenjoysticks.greenmangaming.com/
You get the email with a key to redeem on Steam after that in an email. Hope that helps. Been waiting for an email that never came but saw this via their Blog section on Green Man Gaming.

    • Thanks bud!

      My mystery game was Lifeless.

I paid a pound. Couldn't work out how to make it USD for the savings…

Was anyone else surprised when they were signed up for PlayFire?
I dont recall ticking that box.

  • Funny. Other than the completely useless process GMG have in place for this promo (read:fail) it now appears to be not much more than a trick to get you to sign up to PlayFire and provide them access to your Steam data. I'll pay my pound but I'll be un-linking the two once that's done, which you can only do by contacting 'customer service'. GMG have some work to do if they want to keep customers.
