  • How does the warranty work?

  • -1

Just bought the Nexus 5X (on behalf of daughter) for $297.

dicksmithau - GST or no GST?

    • DS - no GST Also note there are reports of Nexus 5x boot looping after installing Android N. Be aware!!

      • I thought the "AU" might be indicating it was the Australian part of the business, but no GST on Invoice :(

Thanks for the heads up about the Android N. I'm running N without issues on my Nexus 6P and Nexus 9. I'll unlock the bootloader when I flash, if I have trouble, I can re-write - Thanks again for the HU.

Also worth noting that the price is somewhat higher than the actual store price (although comes in lower after discount)

    • There have been reports of some Nexus 5X units suffering from boot loop after being upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat.

  • Does this version have Band 28 LTE?

    • According to the listing yes, but you know with Kogan / DS - anything is expected right?

      4G Network (MHz)700 / 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700/2100 / 1800 / 1900 / 2300 / 2500 / 2600

      • Yeah. So long as I can return it if it doesn't have the right band it shouldn't be a problem

  • I'd wait. Google are announcing new phones on the 5/10. And these models are almost guaranteed to drop even more by then in price.

    • And then they will probably run out of stock really quickly like last time…

Or price would just be stablised. Nexus 6 is still quite pricey…

The newer model Pixel XL is only 5.5 and design looks very bland compared to 6p. I doubt it will be that successful.

      • I agree, 6P is a nice piece of gear, IMO they've reached a bit of a bottleneck with phone performance improvements anyway.6P is as good as I need in a phone right now.

      • Well for those that didn't get a 6p then this will prob be a very nice phone to get. If this is will marketed which it seems it is, probably will seek better than the 6p.

Even better value is the 128GB version, only $16 more: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Huawei-Google-Nexus-6P-128GB-Whit…

  • Damn!! bought one last friday from DWI the ebay sale 15% for $598.
It hasn't been shipped yet.. maybe I can cancel that order ….. has anyone tried cancelling?

  • This is grey stock right?

    • yes
