    Indeed - almost like jumping 2 generations of mobile gpu if you consider that the 1060/70 mobile gpus are just 10% slower than their desktop ancestor.

  Hi everyone, Yes that's correct, they are cheaper because they are run out models. The new Pascal GTX1060/1070 models are out and cost a little bit more so if you need or want the extra grunt then better to opt for those models.
  The GTX970M models have been slowly coming down in price to make way for the new 10 series models.

    Hi Haminacan,
    I tried Googling how eBay can offer 20% off when laptop profit margins are only about 6-7%. There's not a lot out there about it.
    20% off RRP $3299 is $2639.
    My buying price is over $3000. So not sure how this can be done by eBay.
    The Gigabyte P35X-1070-602S v6 4K is currently out of stock until about the 10th Oct. There's a typhoon in Taiwan that's closed the factory and delaying shipment.
    We do have the P57X in stock at the moment and a lot cheaper than the P35X. Still has the GTX1070 and starts at $2399.
