Aus Stock. They are Official Apple Reseller based in QLD. Can vouch for them, they have great customer service!

        • Do warranty claims go to Apple or iFrog?

        • @ozmu:

          Either

        • @ozmu:

Apple. However if DOA or cosmetic defects when you recieve item youll have to deal with ifrog

  • bit off topic, but … how to get rid off these apple id verification pop ups?
    every 5-10 seconds

amazing that like, 1-2 years later, the ipad air 2 is really no cheaper

    • I remember buying the iPad Air 2 64GB for $619 last year! Funnily enough it was an Officeworks deal posted here
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/194241

    • The air 2 64gb used to be around $750 and the 128gb around $900 so they have both come down quite a bit.

  • doubt officeworks will price match as myer is only cheaper for family and friend members.
sure its free to join but its not their standard matchable price.

    • It's a one day promo. Nothing to join. They hand out the flyers in store for people to use.

      • Not on Air 2 http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/ipad-air-2-… still showing $697. Can get it for $669 - 5%.

      • Still cheaper to get HN's $999 with $100 gift card, assuming you have other things to buy at HN. If you have AMEX statement credits, it will bring it down a further $50. I wish I'd signed up for that on 3 of my cards.

EDIT: Never mind. Seems HN's offer ended yesterday. It previously had an unknown end date, so I wasn't sure when it would be around till.

If you want slightly cheaper iPad Pro refurbs…

Sure they're not brand new but my refurbs have been as new.

  • Cheaper at the last ebay 15% off.

      Was even cheaper here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/267261
      But… if you missed out…

      • Yeah was a good deal, but with this one you won't be waiting like me until mid-October for it to arrive! "Estimated delivery Wed, 12 Oct - Mon, 17 Oct".
I still haven't received acknowledgement of my order from DSE/Kogan yet they were awfully fast to add me to their twice daily spam list.

  • Did anyone tried price match it in OW?

    • I can confirm people had luck price matching with this deal to get 128gb iPad Pro WiFi for $835.67 (still active). So should work with this one as well hopefully.

  • Could do with a deal for the pencil.

I managed to price match at OW for iPad Air 2 64gb for $578.55.

    • that's the price I paid 2 years ago brand new, honestly you should have gone with 9.7 iPad Pro instead

      • +1

What's up with prices? Not only have they not gone down in 2 years, they've gone up. Just had a recent price cut too.

And the AUD is higher now than it was 2 years ago.

        • +1

it's actually a strategy Apple been using recently, always offers 'choices' that you either go lower specs for 'less expensive' or higher specs for 'just a bit more expensive (in comparison to the 'less expensive')', that means, that looping comparison effect would help you choose the less or more expensive BUT the final result is always expensive :)

      • Hi, I purchased two IPads for my kids for school and that is what they requested to buy, So to be honest I didn't really want to spend anymore lol.

        • +1

lol, the way schools in Australia keep on pushing iPads really disgusting, ripping parents. the trend, the commission, etc go way too far to push people into 'no actual choice' anymore, shame for the society we living in for a lot of reasons these days

  • I called the OW 1300Office number to price match Myer 128 Air 2 deal. Unfortunately, Myer was out of stock which was disappointing. Then as last resort, I asked about price matching ifrog deal which was already cheaper than Myer. After spending a quick couple of minutes checking ifrog, I got the yay about successful price match for a grand total of $601.15 for an iPAd Air 2 128GB.

    • Did they price match ifrog's price + shipping or just price? Did they charge you shipping?

      • ifrog's sale price. No shipping.

        • did you intend to pickup in store QLD?
otherwise don't then normally add shipping?

        • @fatbelly: No mate. OW willl send the iPad to my local store.

        • @search: I ask if your are local to the store, because OW add the iFrog freight when price matching iFrog. So how did you manage to exclude the freight. I would love that same deal?

        • @fatbelly: I thought they would add the freight too. But lucky for me the guy on phone used the listed price. I'd say try your luck.

        • @search: that's what I thought cheers

    • that's pretty good. might give that a go.

    • any chance have a receipt so i can show my local OW that it works?

  • These are on clearance everywhere, the Air 2.
This Myer deal is expired but you can find similar prices at other shops.
