Went to JB hifi today to buy the G920 steering wheel + shifter but saw they had in store bundle with a game for $399 so got this instead.
Staff member confirmed this deal is available at all stores.
They have the same deal with either:
Forza horizon 3 (Xbox1)
Or
F1 2016 (limited edition) (PS4) obviously with G29 wheel not g920.
Or
There was another deal with racing game for PS4 but can't remember the name sorry
How much could I sell an unopened G920+shifter for?

Apparently $325 for the same inc shifter at MSY on 'deal of the day' but ends today! I see it on the home page but can't figure how it is ordered. Order online today?
I tried to get this, but they were out of stock. Unfortunately JB wouldn't match it. Said it was below cost.

I went to JB to do a price match on a Logitech G602 and the woman there just said no without blinking.
So I went next door to Harvey Norman and they said yes without hesitation.
JB is becoming the old Harvey Norman.
I didn't want to say this but Harvey Norman is becoming more competitive.
They are much more willing to price match nowadays and JB is becoming the opposite.
Ive had so many customer service issues at HN I just won't go there anymore. I find them condescending and very difficult with warranty replacements. With the death of Dick Smith there really is no good Aussie retailers. Not that Dick Smith were good, but I found them at least tolerable.
From memory: click on PC Accessories or any link on the side and it give will give you a dialog to choose ordering for delivery or pickup. Click delivery or pickup then choose the store you want to use. Then find the item you want and hope it in stock at the store you chose. You can choose another store which may have it if it's not in stock.
You can order for store pickup but pay when you pickup if you wish.
Thanks for that but i'm not ordering as i'm terrible at driving games - I know my limits :P

Yep I would have purchased if it was with Forza 6. I can't imagine playing horizon with a wheel, make an easy game even more yawn inducing…
I'd honestly be happy with a controller…. I just would like to have the option of a cheaper bundle…. I mean $140 if I want everything??? Can't bring myself to pay that just yet :(
G920 is fantastic but I have only used a handful of times in 6 months. It's also a hassle to set up every time I want to fire up Horizon 3 (esp when you have kids). Here's a link to the DIY racing rig I built.

Nice rig, I did think of knocking somehting together but gave up and bought a next level stand for $300. No regrets whatsoever, folds away super easy and adjusts in 30s from kids to adults height. Super Super heavy/stable. The kids drive to all the events and leave me to the racing ;D
Good to know. Ive thought about it for Forza multiple times but seems like it would be effort and take up space.
Haha, I have an almost identical setup. I just sawed the legs off a chair to get the height right.
Nice work. I've been planning on building a rig for some time now, already have a race seat for it.
Wood would be a nice easy option to build it, but I think I'll have to go steel frame since I convinced myself (with the help of OzB) to buy a welder for the project.
This is a fantastic wheel/shifter combo but I don't like playing horizon with it. Worth picking up if you plan to get project cars and/or Assetto corsa as well down the track (pun). They are simulators and match this wheel very well.
I got the forza horizon 3 VIP membership (which I purchased as part of another deal which the main game was cancelled but VIP wasn't which I paid for) that I am selling for face value which is $20 if anyone is interested
Is there a bundle that is for G29 + Shifter + FH3 for PC? Would it be possible to get JB to provide a G29 + Shifter + FH3 for XboxOne and use the Microsoft 'Play Anywhere' feature to play it on PC?

I decided not to follow it up. I don't particularly want FH3, so paying the extra $80-100 for a game I don't really want seemed silly. Also @imurgod mentioned it wasn't that great with the wheel anyway. I was looking for the wheel to play with Dirt Rally, I'll be waiting until there is a ~$300 deal.
