Oktoberfest is the world's largest and oldest beer festival dating back to 1811. Held annually in Munich, Germany from mid or late September to the first weekend in October, it is a strident celebration of Bavaria and the epitome of Bavarian hospitality and produce.
I thought Oettinger was $40 a case also (from memory, could be wrong). I got the same email and got the impression they were marketing their German style beers for Oktoberfest rather than pushing a sale on German style beers.

I don't want to neg but it isn't really a deal.
The margins are razor thin with beer but 10% off or even bonus cash back would incentivise this just a little.
Oettinger Pils is a good go-to International beer, it's actually brewed in Germany not locally BUL.
Sure it's their local equivalent of cheap-swill but it's still better than most anything local.
However the last slab I got (from the Cash Rewards bonus offer) was not quite as good.
I'll pass on the Oettinger but Lowenbrau is quite nice!.

Just be careful if ordering online for pickup. I still hasn't got my Sol from the last week's deal and Dan doesn't bother to resolve the issue. They charged $ upfront.
Well, whoever downvoted - Dan has just called and they cancelled my order just like that.
It's a cunning scheme - if there are, let's say 1000 people like me, the company has an operating fund of $100k for more than a week.
I still haven't got my money back, so I guess I'm going to drink less this weekend.
How is this lawful? (Any of the three sentences above)
