  • Are these steel or tungsten?

  • will this fit dewalt d26676-xe it takes 82mm

  • Been watching you make these deals for a while, finally bit the bullet even though I won't be using these until the Christmas break. I do a lot of re-purposing of pallets into furniture and other things and there's ALWAYS a piece of nail or rock that I've missed and bzzzzzzzzzzt… my blades get chewed!

    • Great , my business partner complain why I put the price so low, so this would be our last deal for 75%, we sale this price for reputation and trust only, if anyone one need blade , grabe a bargain thanks

    • do you sell the furniture?

      • Nah, it's a hobby and I just do it for friends and family. They'll cover my costs with Bunnings vouchers, a good whisky (not whiskey with an e!), and I make them break down the pallets and remove the nails etc so they know it's not a quick task. Plus if they want it coated/stained, they have to do that themselves.

If anyone wants to use pallets, the FIRST thing you need is a "pallet paw"… Forget using a reciprocal saw etc to cut between planks, you just damage the wood and you'll leave parts of nail that need to be punched in. Set up the music, grab your pallet paw and start prying pallets. As they're being pryed, someone else knocks the nails out (really easy) of the loose boards. I keep the nails and cut the heads off and glue them back into holes if people want that industrial look.

I've got two - one with a 60mm gap between the prongs and another with a 100mm gap for larger freight pallets. Had a mate make it out of some 20x20 square tube, the handle is 1200mm long at an angle of 15 degrees. Sprayed it with hammer paint and they look excellent and don't rust.

        Happy palleting!

        • sounds awesome but alot of work!

im way too lazy for that

but i love the look of reclaimed wood furniture

        • @furythree:

I heard a guy explain it really well when someone asked him why he bothers to break down pallets instead of just buying wood:

"Anyone can go an buy a necklace made of pearls, but some people like to gather the oysters and make it themselves"

        • @bUrd: ive dealt with pallets that came out of a baiada/steggles factory

they put me off pallets for life

  • awesome. arrived today.

very happy with blades. been meaning to replace mine since I hit a nail 6 months ago.

and the bonus -stamps were not cancelled so the packaging will be reused.
