    • Which BP in SA stock gift cards?

      • +3

Regular BP's, not OTR's. See comment on last deal.

Give them a call before you head down to make sure they have them in stock. Could do something like $10 of petrol + $50 gift card also to hit $60 exactly.

It seems whoever said it above is correct that if you use your amex at BP regularly then you may not get the offer. My amex edge and platinum charge that I use at BP regularly got nothing but the platinum reserve that I have never used at BP or at all really got the offer. Could it just be a coincidence… ?

Not really possible for me to spend $60 for the size of my car, can we pay for two cars in 1 transaction?

    • Probably easier to buy something else in store (or a gift card if there's nothing else you need)

  • this is what i love about my Amex, you don't even have to try and this useful offers that discount day to day expenses just come knocking on your door.

just so happens I need a refuel on BP Ultimate today (proven to be the best 98 RON fuel) :D

edit: spoke too soon, can't find in my offers page or via clicking the link…

I received email from Velocity Frequent Flyer yesterday:

To thank you for filling up and swiping your Velocity membership card you can earn up to 500 bonus Velocity Points^ when you visit BP.

Simply activate this offer by 15 November 2016, make up to two eligible fuel purchases at any participating BP service station* and you'll receive 250 bonus Points^ for each visit. That's a total of 500 bonus Points^.

This offer comes at the right time. Thanks OP!

Wasn't presented with the offer in my amex account Qantas Discovery but emailed them via the site and they enrolled me in it. May be worth a shot!

    • Which email address?

      • +1

No email address per say but just the secure message/contact us section of the Amex site.

  • Any idea if these 2 spends have to be two different stores ?

    • Doubt it.

  • Got it in all my essential cards. Never used my card at BP. Even came up in the offers page so no need to manually sign up. Pity I don't own a car lol

      • "Save 20% thats how you survive in Australia" ♥

  • Bought 2 x $200, 1 x $50, 1 x $25 BP gift cards and filled up $5 petrol, swiped 4 AMEXs twice (4 x 2 x $60), easy!

  • Any manual link yet?

    • Manual link probably won't help because it's targeted.. if there's a manual link it would imply it probably isn't targeted

    • Just email AMEX and ask..

  • I only spent once and I got $20 which is titled "AMERICAN EXPRESS PROMOTION CREDIT"..

    Anyone else?

  • yesterday I bought some BP gift cards and got email immediately …

  • Anyone know anywhere in SA that sells BP gift cards? Seems really hard to find, even at the BP branded locations.

  • I'm certain I managed to save this to my ANZ Amex.. Now I'm trying to chase up the $20 credit via Amex Connect who claim that non Amex issued cards weren't eligible?!? I'm certain I saved it to my ANZ card via the manual link!

Anyone else had this issue or am I going crazy?

    • As far as I am concerned, this deal is for AMEX issued AMEXs only..
